No mention of a fan from this forum. Why not? What a disgrace. How were they chosen. Frosty is one of them. More Kellogs than a scobby do. None, I say none of you speak for me.
A disgrace? why should this forum have a member on the council? if I started up another forum tomorrow does that mean my forum should also have members on the council?
Your rather weird comment "None, I say none of you speak for me" means what? if the council consisted of only members from this forum then they wouldn't speak for you, so what are you worried about? if nobody speaks for you then what's your problem?

Totally agree - I could think of a few members on this forum that definitely wouldn’t be speaking for me.
The fact that the club have set up a fan council is better than no input from fans at all. One of those on the council does post on this forum and I know another certainly used to be a member of the previous forum that Peter ran.
Really, people need to stop whining about every step the club makes. It may not be perfect, but at least they are trying things.
Applications were invited on April 16th - go to around 15.30 on this Crawley Town video
It was then discussed on this forum. What stopped people applying, I'm not sure - obviously people did and perhaps RWatt can explain how/why he did, if we are genuinely interested in this subject

Thanks - I doubt everyone would have seen this. that's the problem here I think a mix of communication channels.

but the communication is poor needs to improve, its about equality I wasn't afforded the chance to join the forum, no idea if i would (what is it) but in principle I wouldve like the choice - where was the equality here?

Did the club block your equality of access to a world famous website called YouTube?

Maybe, but the comms people at the club I think strike me as good, hardworking lads so I'd be loath to criticise them personally - the issue might be more a massive increase in their workload given the explosion of things happening in and around the club. Possibly they need more resources as we grow, as does every area of the club. Anyway, all good stuff that can be fed back by our new fans reps, the supporters club or even if you see one of the owners in the bar in Redz in these coming weeks, they were certainly very approachable at the end of last season and that's unlikely to change you'd think

i dont have time to look here there and everywhere i doubt im alone in that
With the club's youtube videos, I tend to focus on those that have match highlights. Mind you, I've n o problem as I'm not one to get involved in the business side of things

Fair enough but this is exactly my point even if you frequent You Tube are you gonna see the notification - perhaps no - the communication as others have highlighted has been poor, confusing and not good enough.

That's fair enough but maybe there's a sense that was part of the criteria of selection ---- they wanted fans who were committed enough to be able to check out the club's 3 or 4 main means of communication. A little bit of "get up and go" has got to be useful surely if you take on the workload of this role. But if you genuinely feel you missed out, the opportunity is bound to come up again in the future
