In the new Arsenal documentary, you see Arsenal training whilst "You'll never walk alone" was being played loudly in the background to get used to the noise at Anfield. I mean Arsenal still ended up losing 4-0 but the psychology behind training and preparing for a match is very interesting.

Whilst we have hit record numbers with the amount season tickets sold, there will still be a number of fans who will want to get their tickets on the day of the match or the week before. How can the ticketing system improve and get quicker going forward to reduce the queues?
How can ticketing be improved at the club? Short-term: The owners have invested in 3 new computers to help with the current ticketing system
Long-term: The club have plans to build or partner with a third-party platform for online ticketing eventually but wasn't obtainable for the start of the season.

do not under any circumstance have e-tickets as the only option (not everyone has a smart phone). Provide this and print at home (not everyone has a printer) and pick up from ticket office/window (this must surely be obtainable to all). Respect all fans choice of obtaining tickets and at the same time you'll reduce crowds because not everyone will collect from the ticket office.

My idea for Match Days :-
Have pre-printed tickets in the ticket booths.
Last season, people queueing, when they got to the front, named their ticket preference then they were printed out, there and then on the machine.
Why not have pre-printed tickets eg: Away Standing , Home Standing etc . That way, they are just picked up and handed to the person, this will save some time printing them. I've seen this quite often when going to away matches.

Indeed, it's a pet peeve of mine that companies that start using technology sometimes stop offering other methods to pay etc. If a shop stops taking cash, for example, they automatically become my supplier of last resort. That's a bit difficult when CTFC has a monopoly. I feel so strongly about this I would stop watching Crawley completely. There's always Three Bridges, or even free-to-watch park football.
I did go into rant mode about the wider economic issues over such matters, but decided to delete that part as it got away from the CTFC-specific stuff. Suffice to say that Decathlon is now my sports supplier of last resort (doesn't take cash).

Ironically the club are advising people on social media to bring cash today for the food bars due to technology issues.

Simple but effective.
Having pre printed tickets like you suggests would be a HUGE waste of paper. You would have lots left over at the end and you'd need each seat printed. It would alao take a while to find the exact seat the person had purchased
First game at home. Big crowd. Plenty to discuss with fellow travelers after the game.
Only half of bar open and last orders at 5:30. I get it you don't want us there.

It is still early days with the new owners. They know Redz Bar is a problem and they want to change it. They want it to be a place people can go to before and after. Currently there are things stopping this from happening but they are wanting to change that.
