I have brought in two new class strikers. One from the premier league. Yes you heard that correct. A young Villa lad. Now never mind how many goals they have scored between them, you'll find it easy to add up with your fingers ladies and gentlemen. Yesterdays (also last years) news is todays (chip paper). I cannot have that Mick Lynch stealing all the headlines. We now have more strikers. Now that is exactly what Preston wants the club at the forefront of the Newspapers.
Kevin Betsy, stop nicking my jokes, they’re barely worth putting once on this forum 👍
I remember there was a bit kerfuffle on here when Dallison was let go last season. Does anyone think Dallison has proved Yems wrong? Generally there are always difficult choices to make, as the money for Lynch's new contract had to be found from somewhere
It’s these sort of decisions which takes your affinity away from the club. I’d rather have a player like Kwesi that works his socks off every week and clearly loves the club than loan a teenager that’s lazy with a bad attitude however talented. All the BS spoken about him being too injured to control a ball is rubbish, he wouldn’t be going to play at Colchester if that was the case!

I heard from a Colchester fan that Dallison hasn't started the season very well and to be honest, when I rewatched a few games from last season, I noticed he did make a few mistakes. What pissed me off at the time was the lack of defenders we had when he left, plus the stuff with former director Selim Gaygusuz

Why do you think the youngsters are like that - seeing some of them play has been great. There will always be the I'm too good for this league type but they will soon be found out

Well he returned to the team a week ago after being injured all season, and has only played 2 games, so it looks like Colchester fans are even more impatient than Crawley.

Which of our young loanees are you accusing of being lazy with a bad attitude?

I don’t think any of our youngsters have a bad attitude from what I’ve seen so far. In fact, take Balagizi as an example - he seems to have a fantastic attitude and work rate.
Kwesi is great too, but I suspect he feels he’s less likely to be starting with the players we have.

I feel that from the first interview with Balagizi his attitude has been refreshing as he seems like he’s pleased to be here to get the opportunity to play games and he just wants to play as much as he can and I think that attitude has translated on to the pitch with some excellent performances. Sadly most of the youngsters we’ve signed in recent seasons haven’t been half as good as Balagizi.

Exactly. I didn’t mention Balagizi, and for every Balagizi we’ve had half a dozen that think they’ve made it already and you don’t hear of them again. Not really comparable to Kwesi in attitude and work rate.
