True but there was a lot happening around the club at the time eg Yems which I'm sure didn't help.
Funnily enough, there was a theory much mentioned on this forum last season that we were getting a lot of poor decisions from match referees because Yems was criticising them so vociferously, so they were getting their own back as some sort of cartel. I hugely doubted it at the time and I think this season with Betsy being as nice as pie on the touchline has gone to prove that League 2 refs are just constantly error prone and sadly for us in the past month, almost virtually one way.
Refs are always a soft target - how often the guy behind is screaming for offside and I'm not sure and vice versa! I think the refs are generally about the same standard relatively to their peers in the premier as our players are to theirs, so all comes out in the wash!
The standard of refereeing is ordinary at all levels. And I'm not talking about decisions that are so marginal you need the benefit of 10 replays time sure.
On the other hand the average supporter doesn't always have a great understanding of the laws of the game.
However I think any suggestion of agendas would be a bit far fetched.....
Crawley Town, Newport County and now Exeter City have all been linked with a move for Artell. This comes after news Graham Alexander turned down a job offer from Newport County and ruled himself out of the Crawley Job to spend more time with family.

I’m not surprised that Artell is in demand. Also not surprised with the amount of sackings Alexander has been through in recent years that family life seems more attractive right now
I wouldn't read anything into that at this moment. Haven't heard any noises coming out of the club that they are considering this Robinson bloke and my gut feeling is that someone has simply put a lot of money on him at the bookies (which can dramatically change the odds in a market such as next Crawley manager). I remember back in the spring when seemingly very random names such as Nathan Rooney and Paul Raynor had odds shortened drastically even though from what I understood they weren't really ever considered by the club as options
Rishi Sunak was the chancellor when Betsy was appointed, so if he was still our manager he would have been through 4 chancellors as well as 2 PMs and 2 monarchs

More monarchs than league wins and chanceĺlors would have likely been our top scorer (own goals).
When looking at the names being mentioned I think Lee Bradbury would be as good as most and has recent links with the club and squad. Stability is the main thing atm not another left field appointment.

I thought you were going to Three Bridges along with John The Gas.
