240 Reds fans at Col U, it ends 2-2; Ludwig a liability. No one stood out except I give MOM to Nadz again for a good performance. It was a game with little cohesion but we came away with a point and remain outside the drop zone so relatively 'happy'.
Great support from the travelling fans. We messed up there the second Colchester goal we failed to close the player down and made it too easy for them. Defending wasn't great Ludwig isnt up to L2 and Francombe always looks dogdy. Too many average or below average, below par performances. Did I hear the ifollow commentator say our striker could've played for them had he not been injured? very strange that, who fvcked up the paperwork there?

It was an okay performance, we played well in patches, but some of the defending out there was poor though we dug in and came away with a point which helps us move away from the relegation zone. Fellows was poor and Ludwig looks clumsy at times plus I don’t rate Tsroulla as a defender as somewhat error prone. Nadesan had another good game though and looked a threat, the goals he’s scored in the last two games have obviously given him a massive boost. Still lots to improve on, but we are a few places outside the relegation zone though which is good.
Holes all over our midfield again. Young changed it around to get some stability in there. Nadder right wing, Fellow left, Nichols down the middle and Tilley behind (in the hole). Sorted out the midfield problem but left us short up front.
Thought it was quite an entertaining game between two sides whose league position doesn't lie. Either side of half time we were the better side but both sides will think they could of won.

It was a good evening at a nice football stadium, there was a good Crawley crowd, although noisy at times, not as noisy as I've seen before at other "local" matches.
Much better sitting along the side of the pitch this time, as opposed to behind the goal last season.
A four goal match, that's 19 goals I've seen in the last 4 matches , certainly entertaining football !
In the last few games we have returned back to where we were last season sometimes very good other times not so,we are starting to have a very potent strike force let down by poor defending we seem very unlucky with central defender injuries but we really need two proper left and right fullbacks Tourusla is not a fullback and Fellows would be a real threat if he didn't have to keep chasing to help out,Francillette has all the potential to be a great defender but needs Tony Craig to give him some one on one coaching or it's down the road for him.
Opinions are opinions I suppose but he is very young for a centre half and will get some nous to go with that frame over time.

Agreed, he’s improved technically on the ball rapidly since being at the club. With experience he’ll improve it’s a shame he’s struggled with injuries so far.

Hi could i have some argument to the sentence "Ludwig is a liability" please? Because when i reviewed the 2 goals it seems the midfielders and the left side on the team is more involved than him.... and i think its just an opinion that the midlfied ( especially with 2 players) let often opened this part of the field for the run of the opposite team ( why? its a managerial issue even if i have somes theories)
Take the point all day long, once again though our defending let’s us down. However… Lewis Youngs run continues!
There's not much point in beating the better sides like Mansfield Town (as I don't think they'll be fighting relegation this year) and then rolling over against the Teams that are around us in the lower echelons of League2.
Yes, we didn't lose and we claimed a solitary point, but i would think that it was two points lost.

If you snooze, you lose !!

Indeed, one of the plus poiunts in beating a fellow struggler is that it deprives them of potential points. I imagine that as the home side, and the team that did more attacking, Colchester will be a little more disappointed than us though.
