Crawley Town play away against Bradford City in a league 2 match in the 2022/23 season, Saturday 29th October 15:00 kick off. Please keep all discussion about the match to this thread. Thank you and come on you Reds
After reading this I can't help but feel the Bradford guys are a bit up themselves and see themselves as superior for what reason I don't know. A team of proud tradition who are in the depths of the league achieving very little despite fantastic support.

Back in 2008 when we were back in L2 for the first time, even though the club was in turmoil after 2 admins, 3 relegations and losing the ground, I'd agree 100% that there was a general feeling that we shouldn't be where we were and that the club would automatically rise above all the "little" clubs because how could the mighty Bradford City not be superior? However, that's 14 years ago, for many years now the gaze has turned inwards and the question is not "why aren't we superior?" it is very definitely "why are we inferior?" If the club can consistently and sustainably generate a top 6 budget, how can it consistently fail to get anywhere near the play off places and the answer is very obviously that from a footballing perspective, the club is not as well run as most of the clubs in this division.
The core statement of "we shouldn't be in this division" may remain the same but the sentiment behind it has changed entirely.
Anyway, I don't want to derail the match day thread so I'll shut up until I've something more relevant to talk about.
Sounds that way on radio comms. They are definitely there for the taking, sounds like we are pressing well and being allowed to play our game. To quote their forum ' We're getting an absolute hiding so far ' 'We make most teams look very good'.... love to see it.
This could be a 2nd half made for Telford, don't expect Bradford to be as sloppy but sounds like we could have been a couple up if we had been more clinical.
