Good result that , especially taking into consideration Morecambe last week. Can't remember the last time our away form was this convincing, if only we could match it at home and we would be play-off material!

Its important we get a win at home on Tuesday, especially considering the result Luton got today. Seven goals, not one of them from that Collins bloke.

I wonder why that Collins bloke didn’t get on the scoresheet 😳

Saving his goals up for when they play Crawley soon?
After a nervy start we grew into the game and shaded the 2nd half even though we conceded a penalty. Big Joe seems to have added solidity and Lewis played well. A solid away point. A Grimsby fan we shared the train with thought Big Joe our best player and I wouldn't argue. Nice touch at the end with Glenn having pictures with younger fans and a helpful steward letting them on the pitch.
Anyone else not surprised that the two consecutive clean sheets has coincided with McNerney's return to the XI? A similar thing happened at around this time last season, with Drummy not full fancying him and opting for Davey before realising that Joe is the answer.
Would have taken a point there - haven't we drawn every time we've played away at Grimsby now?
Onto Tuesday now and it really is must win against a Chesterfield side who really must be lacking in confidence. Could well kickstart our season.
I remember all this feeling of positivity after our impressive footballing display at Barnet only to then be brought back down to earth with two pretty awful home displays. We really need to get an early goal Tuesday, and shatter their already fragile confidence? Problem is we dont have a goalscorer!
Maybe the players should all arrive at the Broadfield together by coach and treat it as an away fixture...? The psychology is interesting, you are right Mick about in away matches there being less pressure to make the play and you can sit back and counter... but it must be more complex than that, whatever happened to home advantage..?
No doubt some of it will be deflected onto the support, but generally in the East Stand there hasnt been much abuse, lots of comments when we are lumping the ball up but bearing in mind our awful form at home think the team has got off lightly. They need to come out with a much more concerted team effort and not have some players hiding and leaving it for the defence to have no option but to clear it long. I want to see midfield demanding the ball from the defence or keeper and then much more willingness from forward players to make space and accept the ball. That and somebody to have a shot every now and then. Cannot afford another two limp home performances in a row to undo any good work done away from home. Maybe our season will turn on a rousing win against Luton!!?
I wonder if they try too hard at home, which inhibits them and leads to hesitation & mistakes... I'm sure someone said this once before around our club.. but it worked then, so worth a go..

No surprise our defence has improved since Joe has replaced Yoreth, I would like to see Lelan moved back to centre back with Joe and Connolly at right back I think he's a good player but tends to get caught out of position at centre back.
