Steve, I guess it comes down to what you measure success by. The Glaziers have been hugely successful at Man U from a financial perspective, less so for the fans.
I'd settle for a stable club competing somewhere near midtable of L2 that to me would be success at this time
I just wonder how much imput KB had on the team maybe he was merely a coach and the NFT holders were making the decisions?
Galley wasn't around at the beginning of the season. All the signings were KBs. I don't believe NFT holders would know anything about which PL academy u23 players would be available for loan. If the NFT holders had a say in transfers, we would have a team full of youtubers and Sidemen. With Galley effectively running the club on his own, i don't think we'll be relegated this season. We won't last that long.
To WAGMI owners, stop playing games with our club.
It means a lot to us and it brightens up our lives, living in our town.
Go back to America, you are not welcome here anymore.
Until they find someone willing to buy the club off them, we are stuck with them. They need to ditch Galley asap and get in somebody who has a clue about L2 football. We don't need a DoF. But we do need a manager as we have a match tomorrow! I pray to god that Byfield takes charge for the Satanage game, but I fear it will be Galley. Wouldn't surprise me if the majority of the team phoned in sick "I've tested positive for covid" rather than play for that clown. (Note to Steve: that was a joke)

Galley has been advising WAGMI since April, his position only became official in August, but he’d been working behind the scenes
Main issue with Wagmi is the they won't seek advice from serious football experts. Look at Gillingham appointing Kenny Jackett as DOF and Andy Hessenthaler as head of recruitment. Hopefully they will listen to Scott, because at least he seems to know what he is doing.

This, exactly. If we are to get anything from this season, and by that I mean avoiding relegation, it will be down to Lindsey and the players.
There are many vocal supporters on here and on Twitter who constantly berate the owners - ok that’s their stance but there are many who aren’t bothered and only want to watch their club play football and not get involved with the politics - which also have to be respected.
The other Red Devil’s supporters have been consistently annoyed by the Glazers but that hasn’t changed anything and they have a much larger fan base than us.
Quite agree Alain - the silent majority, as they probably do account for the majority of the people that come through the turnstiles. Only interested in the football, which is fine, or haven’t made their views public.
That said, staying out of the politics should mean just that - not staying out of it but also telling others to stop moaning (not that I believe that happens on here).

Agree with this. If anyone has interpreted my views as "don't moan about Wagmi" then that's not my intention - everyone should have their say, freely. Be nice though if those of us striving to give a more lower-key, middle-ground, mixed assessment of Wagmi weren't painted as some kind of stooges of the owners, we are allowed to have our say too, without copping a load of personal remarks.
I don't think there is a fan at the club that probably doesn't have some kind of view about the "politics", it's just most don't get incredibly animated about it. I don't expect the West Stand to start joining the Wagmi chanting soon, for example, maybe that's because there's a bigger percentage of more older fans who have seen many owners regimes come and go, who knows.
I do still believe it is better for players on the pitch to hear positive chanting from fans. It's a small ground, the players can hear everything. Give Lindsey a month or two of 100% getting behind his players, obviously it we continue to underperform on the pitch during that time then the negativity is bound to return, that's football. But we have a fresh start with Lindsey and let's pull together while the players are busy busting a gut on the pitch - beforehand, half-time, afterwards, anti-Wagmi people do your worst/best, whatever you want re. free speech
