After drawing last night we have picked up 1 point from 3 games in hand. We need to beat Grimsby now to take advantage of our last game in hand. However, 4 points from our next 2 home games would be okay.
Good return of 11 points from 15, and now caught up Colchester. Still need to keeping up points to be safe. I don't think Rochdale will catch us now, and I think if we get 44/45 points (7 or 8 more) hopefully that will be too much for Hartelpool to catch.

Would be good to overhaul Colchester (sorry Kwesi) so that we have three teams below us in the table. Then we just need to keep picking up points so that they stay there.
I think Rochdale are doomed, so it's one from three to go down. Personally praying for AFC Sanctimonious to go all Spursy, lose every game, and plummet back down to non-league for the rest of eternity.
With other results going against us the last two weeks, and Rochdale and Hartlepool winning big we have virtually lost our points and goal advantage in two weeks. Looking very right at the bottom but Colchester and Harrogate are definitely in the mix, even though Harrogate have game in hand.

Seeing that Bradford have only lost once in last 14 - 15 games I think we got a good result - its going to be the games against the lower teams that determine where we finish - a point from Barrow would be a good result
Yes Barrow is an important game now Hartlepool have caught us up. Barrow were well beaten today and 6 points off playoffs now, so hopefully we can get at least a point.

We need all 3 as those Northern b@stards Hartlepool keep winning. Even the hopeless Rochdale won scoring 4
That's the problem, most teams down the bottom are picking up points at the moment. Hartlepool and Rochdale both have 10 points from the last 6 games, and we and Harrogate have 9 points. Colchester have only 4 but they have drawn their last four games.
I think We probably need another 9 points from our last 6 games and we can't afford to lose to either Colchester or Hartlepool. We need to win at least 2 of our home games, as our away form is so poor.
After today at Barrow it's us or Hartlepool to join Rochdale in National League. After Barrow we have 38 points (GD -25), Hartlepool 39 points )GD -22)
To avoid relegation at Hartlepool:
We have to have minimum 4 points (beat Tranmere and/or Colchester and draw the other minimum) to arrive at Hartlepool with at least 42 points because if Hartlepool win their next 2 matches (Away Newport, Away Salford) they arrive ahead of KO Sat 29th April (Hartlepool v Crawley Town) with 45 points and after Hartlepool (IF they beat us) we can only finish with a maximum of 48 points (wins at home to Walsall then away at Swindon). Hartlepool (IF they beat us) could have (IF they win their previous 2 matches) 48 points
Advantages to Reds 3 of our remaining 5 are at home (one more than Hartlepool). It's still in our own hands IF we win at Hartlepool. We could possibly recall Tony Craig
Disadvantages to Reds Hartlepool have 1 more point and better GD Hartlepool are pulling off results and currently in form. Crawley form is so poor
Agree with you George that we need a minimum of 4 points from the next 2 home games, preferably 6. However, we can't afford to lose the Hartlepool game either. We need at least a draw from this game. I can't see us getting anything out of the Swindon team as this team is f useless away, and f useless under pressure. We also can't rely on Hartlepool to lose their last two games.
Scott said he is confident team can win home games but I am not sure. He also did not mention away games.

If we were to win our remaining 3 games and not lose at Hartlepool I'm confident that would better Hartlepool's overall Tally. It's a big ask though.
Hartlepool fan here, awful situation to be in relying on other teams misfortune - but we both are where we are.
I think we each need to hope that the Colchester result was a one off yesterday, their run in is not easy - plus they play you guys, so they are not out of the danger yet.
In each of our final games
Newport Away Salford Away You guys at our place Barrow Home Stockport Away
We genuinely believe we can get a result from any of them, Home or Away, but why?
John Askey joined us 8 games ago and we are unbeaten in that time. He has been fortunate in terms of timing of injuries, there have been 3-4 key players come back towards the start of that (Dan Dodds, Callum Cooke & Jamie Sterry) plus the resurgence of a couple of players (Euan Murray, Wes McDonald) who were of previous poor form - we have been able to name a relatively steady line up, with perhaps 1 change to the 11 each game.
We play good, attacking football and create plenty of chances - we seem to manage against the physicality of Stevenage or the pace and quality of Leyton Orient. We have been fortunate with the loan signing of Dan Kemp who has scored 9 goals in 12 games, he is a lightweight player that would usually get lost in league two, but our passing style enables him to get on the ball and create or score - my opinion may be biased but i'd expect to see him in the Championship next season, to come into what was a poor side and score (and assist) basically every game is remarkable.
A pattern is emerging, certainly at home, we seem much fitter than before and the attacking options on the bench we have are impacting games in the last 15 - 20 mins (Wes McDonald & Oliver Finney in particular), until the Grimsby away game (we won 4-1) the majority of goals we scored were in the last 10 minutes. This may seem like good fortunate on the face of it, but we are very effective when the game opens up and in every recent game under Askey create 3-4 clear cut chances in the last 10+ minutes - it is actually becoming an expectation.
This is in stark contrast to the previous games in the season, where we were reliant on the ball dropping for us, a dodgy decision or a fluke goal to scrape something from a game - praying no one makes a mistake. We could go a full 90 mins without a shot on target or a clear cut chance, plus a clown show at the back. It was very depressing.
Anyway - let us see if any of what I have posted here correlates to the match we will play on Sat 22nd April, it would be great to see you guys travel in numbers and hopefully we have an incredible atmosphere and match.
