Having games in hand is usually seen as a possible way of making up a few points. At the moment I'm viewing them as a way of getting a worse goal difference. Glass half empty.
Two points off the bottom but games in hand on our relegation rivals (2 at home). However looking at the weather forecast,I can see the Grimsby being called off too. I can't see us wanting to play on another frozen pitch and risking further injuries after the Hartlepool fiasco.
It will give us more time to get in a new No 1 keeper, but give Wagmi the excuse that they have not bought any players as SL has still not seen the team in action! Hopefully some of injured players will be fit by the time we will play again. I see Conroy, Lynch, Nadesan and even Omele are back in training which just leaves Tilley.
Also note that club have finally updated website to show all played pictures!
To quiet from the owners etc , no new players , no new target man up front for Telford to feed off , no new midfield player to run the game , no new goalkeeper urgently needed, only just over a week of the transfer market left , not wanting to sound especially worried but I am and really feel unless we are very lucky I can see us getting relegated and just sliding further and further down .
