Really need to start picking up a few wins, Stockport and Orient are going to be tough away games. Honestly can’t see us getting anything from these two games. Hopefully the other teams around us don’t pick up anything over the next two games. Going to be a tough end to the season.
It certainly is - I think 5 or our next 6 games are away from home so we do need to start picking up some points away which we haven't done well this year.
It does mean that the last rump of games are predominantly at home which could be good news but by the time we get there, we could be in much deeper trouble.
Scott seems to have got some things right but letting Hess and Craig go hasn't helped us in any way.
Good point Westander. I knew the next 2 were away, but did not realise Carlisle is our only home game in the next month (1 out of 6 at home), and none of the away games look easy. The games are mainly against top half teams, in playoffs. If we don't pick up points away from home and beat Carlisle, it will put more pressure on us to win the 4 home games in late March.
Looking at this run of away fixtures, it appears partly due to poor planning by the club, as they have rearranged two postponed away games either side of another away game and before the two rearranged home games. We now have 3 home games in a row in late March, and we may need to win at least two of them.
There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that we are very much in a relegation battle and we need to keep picking up point. Being reliant on 2 teams performing even worse than us is not a good outlook. We are extremely lucky only 2 get related from a division of 24, I cant think of any other league with that low number relegated.

You have put "club" and "planning" in the same sentence 🤣🤣
As George says if four went down it would be very hard for us to stay up this year. It looks to me at the moment Rochdale will probably go down with one of Hartlepool, Harrogate and unfortunately us.
If Man City get relegated to the 2nd Div due to their money problems then only one would go down. I think they call this clutching at straws.
Although that may happen if they are found guilty of sufficient financial irregularities, that would be a protracted affair over a year or two. I wonder if they would put their regular squad out in the L1/L2 cup games.
Still not in bottom two, but only on goal difference. We need to take more shots on goal, if we are going to get out of this. 4 of the next 5 games are away, so we are going to have to start getting points away or we will be in the bottom two in the near future.
The season won't be decided on a Tuesday night at Stockport, or even on Saturday at Orient.
From 7th March we have Sutton, Harrogate, AFC, Doncaster, Rochdale and Grimsby. Probably 10 points needed from that lot.
On paper Carlisle at home will also be tough but they got hammered last night, plus we are always likely to pull out a win against the better sides so who knows.

Wins against the better sides are worthless if you can’t beat the Teams that are in the mire alongside you !!

This run of games in March will be vital as it includes 4 home games including 2 of our games in hand. I just hope we are not too far behind Hartlepool by the Harrogate game considering 4 of the next 5 games are away. Hopeful we will get something out of the Carlisle game.
