If the manager knows him well and he has a fair amount of L1 and L2 experience then he looks like he fits the bill well. Best of luck Ben, we are right behind you. You will get a huge amount of support from the fans and any protests are directed at the club owners not players. Have a good one!
SL: "Speaking on Gladwin’s move to the Reds, Manager Scott Lindsey said: “This is a brilliant signing for this football club. Ben is an excellent player and a great leader. He will add great professionalism and qualities to the changing room. Above all else, he is an outstanding footballer, and he is big and physical. This is a real statement of intent from this football club that we mean business.” as long as this isnt all bullsh1t then really I doubt I couldve read anything more positive. Lets hope he can play.
If we want to do that, we could stop getting rid of all our experienced players....
Yes, that would be ideal, but Wagmi don't seem to want people around who've got the balls to challenge them.
Paul you seem to have summed up the problem. When Lewis went I can imagine that some of our senior players may have expressed their concerns. Pure speculation on my part but it could explain why we are losing 2 captains, Nichols and Francomb

and yet it is the owners who have forked out for him so lets protest - makes perfect sense!

You really don't have a clue do you? Stupid or naive, I'm not sure which.

[word that could be offensive to some people removed by Admin. Context of message absolutely remains] Amazing how easily some people can be bought. Who cares if they’ve finally made a move in the transfer window, they’ve absolutely ripped the soul out of this club

We are probably in the last chance saloon really if we don't get behind the manager and players on the pitch.
Newport were an example to us recently. Two nil down at home to an underperforming team, did their fans throw their toys out of the pram and start negative chanting against their own club? No. They spotted the ref could be influenced and spent the entire second half barracking every 50-50 decision he made. Suddenly it paid off at the end of the game when he gave two terrible decisions against us that led to the equaliser. That's a fan base doing its job backing its club. What will be the atmosphere tomorrow in the event we go two nil down early?

Come on do you really need someone on here to tell you what the 'atmosphere' will be like if Salford go 2-0 up early tomorrow?

and creating more negativity will only drag us down into the conference - is that what you would prefer so you can stick it to Wagmi?
I guess my difference with you is that I don't think they have deliberately created a mess it is more ineptitude but they have a desire to get it right which is something we need. Getting rid of them at this stage will be an even bigger disaster.

Ineptitude or arrogance? I know which one I’d go for. They’ve had near on 10 months now to appoint someone who actually knows how to run a football club, but instead they still think they know right.
Everyone will be supporting the team, but don’t get your knickers in a twist when the WAGMI chanting gets going tomorrow.

I'll do my best but just hope it doesnt help team to a defeat
