Crawley Town play away against Leyton Orient in a league 2 match in the 2022/23 season, Saturday 18th February 2023 15:00 kick off. Please keep all discussion about the match to this thread. Thank you and come on you Reds.
(just getting the thread up early as usual. I also usually 'bump' it up so it's near the top even if it has no replies to naturally 'bump' itself at the top of the forum)..
We cannot keep relying on the teams around to keep drawing/losing. We need to pick up some more wins and particularly some wins away from home- we haven't won a league game away from home all season! That is simply not good enough! But I suppose this is the result when you get a load of random players together and keep chopping and changing managers and get rid of your experienced players you cannot close out games anymore! We have good record against Oreint, particularly away from home, we should be going there to win and not keep the score down!

Absolutely right - we need to focus on our own game and work on getting the points we need to get clear of danger. Lots of talk recently about being in a false position, should’ve done this, should’ve won that etc. I’m afraid I don’t buy that. There are no points for pretty football or having a certain percentage of possession. The fact is that we haven’t taken chances when we’ve been on top then we’ve given soft goals away at the other end. Carry on like that then we will struggle to beat the drop.

If Lynch starts every league macth till the end of the season we stay up easily. If he only starts half a dozen matches then 50/50, if he gets injured in next 2 games again we go down SIMPLES! Forget all the Other Razzamatazz!
Mazeed should have had us 1 up early on with our best chance of the half. A few nervous moments when playing out from the back. Need to get the ball out to Gordon a bit more as had the beating of the full back early on. Still not clicking up front with Telford.
