Thing is you’re talking as if you have a right to extra seats. You don’t. Nor do you have a right to be pitch-side.
I’ve been to many clubs with larger grounds than they need and we were given small allocations and stuck in the clouds. Sunderland, Leeds, both Sheffields - even Notts County and Lincoln did it.
We didn’t moan about it. We had no right to.
If you had a 20k seater stadium, would you really give us 6,000 seats behind a goal for this match? Be honest - you wouldn’t and we wouldn’t expect you to.
Good on you for giving more space for your day trippers. Absolutely the right thing to do, and I hope they become loyal fans.
OMG. The same clown going off on this thread too. Jeez.
Block 30 here so looks like we've sold 2 blocks at least I'm guessing maybe we started at 30, then 30a, then working our way around that top corner. Looking at the number of seats in 'comparable' home corners of upper tier its about 300 per section (but I could be wrong of course) be good if the club could update us on how well we are selling the away match. I wonder if some people may wait to see the outcome of tonight's first leg before deciding whether to go or not.

That’s correct, so you have probably sold about 600 then. Lower tier blocks are about 800 seats. Upper tier are 300 ish. This is why we regularly get brain dead away fans claiming they have more fans than us because when you’re sat in the upper and look at a half full lower block in the home end, it’s easy to forget that’s still more than a sold out away block :-)

Really the club should have let the general sale of away tickets go on sale today as originally planned. It would have rewarded more loyal fans buying tickets before knowing the score of the first leg which could have an effect on people's decisions whether to go or not. Season ticket holders didn't need am extra day as we thought we had a Monday deadline anyway.

but STH may have not travelled or want to just to pick up tickets and then travel back tonight for the match so it made sense to allow them to do it all in one journey.
