Jeremy Kelly Signs A New Contract

I think his performance on Saturday suggested to me that trying to sign him longer term would be a good idea. No disrespect to Ade but Kelly was the motm for me.

Yes, but let me pretend to be his AGENT below and see if we can afford him after what his agent says to CTFC / Scott / Wagmi at the end of season:-

1/ Jeremy was the USA 9th Overall MLS College Pick in 2020 out of 330 million people. 
2/ Jeremy was Valued at $500,000 before he signed for you.
3/ The day before Jeremy's 1st Start for Crawley on the 13th Feb 2024 , Crawley were in ''15th'' Position in the League Two Table.
4/ Every Time Jeremy Started for Crawley (13 times), Crawley Achieved Nearly 2 Points Per Game.
5/ He was also influencial as a sub on a couple of occasions.
6/ He was a Clear MOM on 2 of his starts. 
7/ 0n 27th April 2024 Crawley Achieved 7th Place in League Two and Made the Play-Offs.

After all that above from his Agent - can we still afford him ?? 
 

Agreed - if his agent’s reading this, Jezza is absolute toilet, we only need him to make up the numbers in the squad and to save printing costs on shirts by having 2 Kellys in the squad. He wouldn’t get in anyone else’s team, so may as well stay with us.

He has progressed and added to the team since he’s been here. As long as him and his agent will accept a sensible offer surely it’s a no brainer to offer him a contract.

Talking of planets, if you think about it, by his logic, Jeremy was the 9th overall MLS College Pick out of over 8 billion people on the planet.  Not bad!

Agreed. They work for the player and therefore should be paid by them by some kind of commission/fee The payment should not be paid by the club.
