Its All Part of the SL Masterplan. I like it! Another Sleepless Night in the Hotel for the MKDons Players. They Will be Jaded, Bored, Catching Germs & Going Doolally!
I wasted a days travel and came with a lot of goodwill towards your club. You and your club dismiss it and are defensive. Your club have been at the very least negligent by not trying to prepare.
Yes, there is lots of b*llox coming from some Dons fans, but you’re hardly managing this cock-up well are you, or doing the right thing.
I’m very happy to drone on and on…so do keep going.

And this will change what?
You’re clearly a decent bloke, Paul, with more than the average IQ. You’re right, it would change nothing.
I suspect Mike Williamson will use all this for fuel on the pitch.

If you think it’s just MK fans who have had a long journey and been inconvenienced then think again. I’ve not long got home from the best part of a 300 mile round trip. Am I fed up and frustrated? Of course. I was really looking forward to the game. Someone alerted me to the forecast last night and I did think then that there might be a risk of this happening. When you get that much rain falling in a short space of time and the forecast says it will continue all day, a lot of pitches will struggle. Didn’t Man City, with all their billions, suffer this a year or two back? And these covers that you mention are mainly for frost protection. When it rains, the water on the covers has still got to go somewhere.

Possibly: I know things like this are an irritant, and we have all been through some version of it when following our teams, but ultimately, stressing about it gets us nowhere. My worst one was having a gearbox break on me around Peterborough when I was driving from Crawley to Hartlepool last season. I still got to the match 15 minutes before kick off. That was fun! And over £3k by the time I factored in train fares and vehicle hire after I eventually got back. I'm glad THAT one wasn't postponed.
To top the day off it seems my Now TV sports pass to watch the other play off is screwed as there’s technical issues with streaming at the moment, so coverage is unavailable.
To be honest postponing a game for rain in May is getting to the relms of where forfiting the match is discussion. The club have got off lightly from EFL.
I just hope they know wat they are doing by rearranging it for tomorrow. Is going to rain until 6 or 8 am tomorrow. Another cancellation will probably be a different outcome for the team.
