A bad afternoon - they happen. I wasn't there either but a Tranmere supporting friend tells me we played very well at the start and were in it - and unlucky not to have scored - until the third goal when the confidence drained from the team and Tranmere were worthy winners in the end.
Learn the right lessons to make sure it doesn't happen again, shrug it off and get ready for the next game.
Did not go to the game so shall not comment on that. Ollie's goal got a mention from Jeff Stelling on the Sky afternoon footy show though. Words to the effect of: It is irrelevant in the context of the match, but that is his 9th of the season which is his best return and we are only in October.
Anyone else wondering if we will still have him after the January transfer window aka Collins etc.
I thought we looked alright at the break. but it all went a bit pete tong after that. They could have scored another three in the last 10 minutes, but I assume there is some agreement not to batter other L2 sides. Kind people those Liverpudlians.
