Wait three weeks and come to a meeting to find out what happened at a meeting. That's a poor effort in my view. Communicate with the membership better than that for crying out loud

Hi Ant,

There were a couple reasons we had come to the decision to wait until the AGM to communicate the outputs of the meeting.
When we asked for questions ahead of the meeting only 2 supporters came forward with questions so there didn’t appear to be too much interest from the fanbase in the meeting taking place.
We are attempting to drum up some interest for the AGM as we are concerned how few people will attend so felt communicating it then may attract a few more people. This is backed up by no new membership sign ups this year and currently only 13 people participating in the Reds Rollover initiative.

However......following your feedback we will get something released before the AGM to update all supporters.

I get it - I know how hard it is. But regular communication from the top might lead to better input from the base. AFter all that's what we always crave from Kelly and Erin. They need a route to thefanbase...the CTSA provides it. But if they fail to pass it on then it becomes self defeating.

You know how much I applaud the CTSA efforts in working with the board of the football club. But for it to be seen as something more than just a box ticking exercise it needs to show that its valued

Well done Steve & Sam, the fact that you are able to have this dialogue is a big step forward & reflects well on all parties.

I cannot say i am surprised that Mr. Eren has other priorities and his representatives have stepped into the breach. Their status is a bit vague, but it looks like Mr. Konya has no other professional distractions which must be seen as a positive, i could not reconcile how it was not a conflict of interest if he still operated as a players agent..(?)

No need to rewrite anything, we have their response on record - which is itself quite an achievement - and we can judge them on how successful they are. I thought it was pitched about right, it is meant to be an exchange as part of a collaborative partnership, not an interrogation..!

Maybe you would like to attend the next AGM where you can identify yourself and explain how you would do the job better.

Sorry I missed this as I would have liked Steve L and co to raise the maddening attitude of the club to opening the astro outside Redz to allow our young fans to have their kickabout before and after games, which they have in the last 10 years at least I've been coming to the ground. Sometimes it's open, sometimes it isnt and generally the lads have to dodge cars outside the astro and lose balls on roofs if it isn't.

The club had a very successful family day against KSV before the season started and it's nuts to then withdraw a good facility for the kids in the wake of that. My son gets more out of his football with the other lads before and after the match than often watching the 3pm kick-off, and I don't know if I can keep persuading him to have a season ticket if the club carry on mucking him about like this
