I would have Yusuf Mersin in goal. Probably a worse goalkeeper than Rene Gilmartin. I am surprised you picked Bobson Bawling as he kept oppossing defenders on their toes as they never knew what he would do next.
Mainly because Bawling didn't know what he was going to do next either.
This thread also illustrates the high-turnover of players we've achieved... constant change is part & parcel of life at our level... you'd think we'd be a bit more positive about the level of players retained this time around, but it looks like one mans stability & familiarity is another's dead wood...?
Maybe we should have a list of old/ new forum members and give them a rating/ opinion to see if they make the 'team' 😜
go for it just don't mention anyone's forum name
Sorry T**D couldn't resist i don't really play well with others
I am hardly a paragon of virtue... in fact I wouldn't make my own forum first Xl on the basis of my poor disciplinary record. Here goes:
Goal - Jim Baker: Nothing ever gets past him.
Defence - Hampshire Red, Phil T, Nemo, John The Gas: A dour bunch who won't tolerate any nonsense.
Midfield - Wodin, Lee66, Northgate Red, Red Red & Red: The right blend of quiet experience, and sheer dogged ability to irritate the opposition to distraction.
Forwards - Sulton, Simon: Always enthusiastically display a natural instinct to snipe. Coach - Warren: Only man able to form that lot into a cohesive unit...!

It's a tricky one this as we've had so many players, I invariably can't remember the worst ones as they probably only played a handful of games, however badly.
Quite a few that have been named here have gone on to show themselves to be pretty good players elsewhere, so I'm not sure it's always the lack of ability of the player in our case, more the lack of being able to show that ability under some pretty horrendous managers.

But Thad there is stability and familiarity, then there is Arthur, Lelan (although maybe he has youth on his side) & Tajbaksh? Looking at squad list we have enough to ditch these and get one decent lge 2 standard player? The thread also illustrates how much desperate trawling of the loan market some of our managers have tried.
