I am really annoyed with the club, to be honest. With the event that happened on Instagram on Friday, shouldn't the club be releasing some type of statement to say what happened and what shall be done to Palmer and Poleon?! This incident puts the club in to distribute after these two players slated the club's training facilities as well as slagging off other players. The only thing that has come out of the club so far is a cryptic tweet from the clubs consultant saying
"Disappointing. At times FAMILY members break hearts and let us down. It is extremely difficult to accept however we have to search within to forgive and give those members a chance to redeem themselves. The opportunity of redemption is firmly put into their hands."

I don't believe there is any requirement whatsoever for the club to even comment on this puerile stupidity by two supposed adults who should be able to control themselves and their actions, any disciplinary measures should be taken privately by the club and kept there, if you were stupid enough to do the same thing would you expect your employer to announce their response publicly to all their customers/clients? As far as any comments about their colleagues, I would expect those very people to hold the two stupid P's to account
No, I would not expect my company to announce their response. However, two footballs who are fairly public on social media and are professional footballers who play every Saturday representing a professional League 2 team is a tad different from me who works as a tutor (lowest in the companies hierarchy) in a company with 4,000 other employees!

Im sure ctfc being a professional football club have policies players are expected to uphold re social media and will be disciplined behind closed doors. As a club in the public eye with thousands of fans its leaders need to act to prevent more fan distance and revenue loss. Maybe the fans will boo the players names announced? I doubt though. Do enough have principled stds?
The OP does raise an interesting question, relating to credibility & authority :
Does a vague Social Media post from a Club Consultant, carry any sort of official status or is it just an informal personal opinion, from an individual on the fringes..?
If rwatt is highlighting that it is the wrong person and/or medium, he may well have a valid point...!
I think we should just put this to bed and move on during my working life most of my colleagues and myself expressed views about the firm we worked for that were not to complementary.

I agree trev - and we certainly like to express our candid views on this forum - but that is kinda why i find the half-arsed post from Erdem a spot baffling... why bother to limply fan the flames, if you want the fire to go out...?
Proper statement from a bona fide source that draws a line under the matter... well done..
...and it answers my question... we are all at liberty to ignore the magic-realist new-age stream of psychobabble, from the lightweight dodgy work-experience Used Snake-Oil Salesman, acting without portfolio in some sort of unspecified capacity, as a Consultant to the Club...!

ah that ole chestnut out of context silly me for thinking these players dont give a sh1t. In fact looking at these players personal statements they ONLY apologise for the TIMING of them! Not the view or is that 'covered' up in their passion? Um now how many fans have noticed OP dip in form recently? Coincidence I suppose.
A load of nothing really. Sounds like two footballers with half a brain cell between them trying to look clever.
Let's be honest they are only at Crawley Town FC for the wages, as soon as a better offer comes along then like James Collins they will suddenly have to be nearer the family, want to better themselves etc.
