Home-grown players are defined as players registered at a club in England or Wales for 36 months before their 21st birthday. The seven players must form part of the match-day starting 11 plus seven substitutes.
A club-developed player is defined as one registered with the club for at least a year before the end of his under-19 season.
Interesting that, which national team you are qualified for, does not form part of the "home-grown" equation.
Suits us with BG, but with England having achieved youth & related success at international tournaments, wasn't one of the main intentions to give some of those players greater opportunity at their clubs...(?)
BG was sent out to to Bostick strugglers Burgess Hill played oncd had his chance flopped to never be seen again.
If anyone saw Brian Galach in his brief time at Burgess Hill, they would probably draw the same conclusions, yes he's 17, but didn't even look up to Bostick Premier level let alone League 2.
Francomb certainly looked injured when he hobbled off towards the end of the game at Exeter. Willock came on to replace him so no idea why he wasn't involved yesterday. Some of the statements don't always bear resemblance to reality though. We were told before that there were no injury worries - this while Gambin was in the middle of his hip problems. I'm not bothered if we don't see Poleon in a Crawley shirt again personally although I'm not sure why Meite wouldn't be involved if he has finished his suspension. To be fair, Palmer looked as though he was struggling with some sort of injury at Exeter and I was surprised to see him start yesterday.

He’s posted pictures of ice packs on his hip and also having physio treatment on Instagram so I’m guessing he’s not 100% fit.
