On that Simon Rusk news, looks very likely, if not already confirmed, that Dave Challinor is replacing him. Bet a certain Mr Stelling will be fuming tonight
Also noticed Max Watters got another goal on Saturday, hopefully he can go on a bit of a run now and find his way back into the Cardiff reckoning when his loan ends (especially now Mick McCarthy has been sacked there)
Simon Weatherstone is part of Eddie Howe's backroom team at Newcastle. What I remember most about his time at Crawley was his inability to keep his shots from flying way over the bar and out the stadium

Good memory. I can remember the name and gingery/blond hair and sod all else....I'm not sure about the hair either.

The best shot he ever had was against us when he volleyed one into the top corner from outside the box when playing for Weymouth.

Oh yes. It was a cracker wasn't it.

Watters - 2 goals and an assist today. With Steve Morison having stepped up from the U23 job at Cardiff (where, presumably, he will have seen quite a bit of Max) things may be looking up for him.

Watters is putting together a really good run of form there right now, and you'd think they'd give him more of a chance at Cardiff especially now Mick McCarthy is no longer there. Surely that's what we need as I'd imagine that there were performance clauses included in the deal when we sold him

Yep, I agree. I'd be surprised if he isn't recalled in Jan, but it depends what the loan deal says
