Good performance overall. New signings looking good aswell as ANG Sessay and Camara starting to look the full ticket. Palmer on off the bench looked fit and troublesome. Full of positives.
Shame we could hold on to a draw but we never looked outclassed which is encouraging from past results against Brighton. My MOM Big Joe won important headers.
Good performance against a second or third string Brighton team full of youth players. First half we played some excellent football and dominated the ball without really working the keeper. Second half a bit more even and again we pass well up to the final third, but don’t seem to want to cross or shoot, definitely something we need to work on. Brighton get a tame penalty from a silly handball after a free kick was handled and they get a win they scarcely deserved. A draw would have been a much fairer result.
Really good performance. The result doesn’t matter but you can see Cioffi with time to work with the players has dramatically changed our playing style - everything is short passing, ball played out from back. Good to see it back after too much long ball last season. We keep at this and we will be comfortably clear of any relegation worries.
Too early to tell if we have the makings of something that can aim higher than that, let’s walk before we can run
