What a dull game. Thought neither side deserved more than a point. Palmer did well for the goal though. Haven't seen it since, but seemed like he had work to do to set his feet to bang that home.
Disappointed with the size of the crowd. I can hardly complain, having made only Crewe and today myself, but thought Tuesday's result may have impacted more.
Not my style of music outside Redz today. Modfather copies but it was ok and I will not complain if they do it again.
Did hear one complaint today and I passed it on. Seems nobody could find the keys to the pitch outside Redz. Unhappy campers among the kids who normally have a kick about there.
Dallison and Tunicliffe are becoming absolute rocks in defence.
Dallison has really stepped up his game this season. Wasn’t sure about Dallison last season, but he’s showing his worth now. Tunnicliffe as well has played well and doesn’t seem to give much away to the opposition.
Alright, it's me! My first game of the season and it was crap!
Lumbala had a touch like one of my old girlfriends. She had to go! Morais had the vision of Pew in Treasure Island. Grego-Cox run down more blind alleys than an EastEnder dip and our midfield had the bite of a toothless hag in Soho. Thankfully the defence stood tall and proud. If you can't win, don't lose and hopefully a chance comes your way. It did with Palmer at the end.
Fair play to Cioffi. Takes of midfielders and replaces them with attackers in an attempt to win the game. Sometimes it works.
Hey! Three points is never to be sneezed at.
Well done Crawley.
Jim Baker
Agree re Lubala, thought he had a poor game. Grego Cox as well didn’t have much impact.
I think the uneventful game you have to put down to Cheltenham’s tactics, they had 5 at the back and none of their midfielders were killing themselves to get forward in numbers.
This has to go down as some very good scouting reports of our recent efforts getting back to Cheltenham. I’m happy teams above us in the table are that scared of us, well done Gabi.
Yes I think we missed the energy Camera gives us and both Reece and Bez looked sluggish after the cup win. Francomb looked a bit rusty when he came on.
But the rest of the midfield put in decent shifts and we were the team getting the stronger in an arm wrestle. I think Cheltenham look better than last season as their previous results show so this is a very good win.
Anyone who doesn’t love Ollie I don’t believe can love football. Guy is total all action box office. The fantastic goal he narrowly missed out on against Norwich

Oh, and the entertainment outside Redz. Thoughts?
If you are Noel Gallagher or Paul Weller you can get away with stop start in middle of songs but no disrespect intended to the guy buy im afraid you cant. It was bearable for a pint maybe two in fact maybe you needed at least two to bear it! Ok all said and done its a better pre-match 'entertainment' than the gymnastic girls or whatever they were we've had in the past. Oh and next home match can we book either of the aforementioned or how about Robert and his band the Cure, perhaps they wouldn't mind walking down the road for a sing song or two?
PS Can whoever plays the music over the PA change the record please - but I'm happy for you to keep Skin deep by the Stranglers though, sorted, thanks!

Yeah. liked that too. Said to my mate "nice to hear some Echo and the Bunnymen" and he corrected me on that one!.
I moaned in my post above, but enjoyed today. Think this season might be fun...….for a change.
Plenty to cheer as far as I could see. Boring maybe but this is a Crawley side with fight and fitness, last season a lose would have been the expected outcome but Palmer, goes to ground to easily for my liking, stuck at it and got his just rewards. Some on here seem to have short memories of the dross served up for the past 4 or 5 seasons, I’d say the future is much brighter.
I agree this seasons squad seem much more positive and I am encouraged to think we may have a better season this year. I do think the two central defenders are gelling nicely, I wish the full backs would get closer to winger as far too many crosses get through . We have a pretty good midfield that needs a bit more consistency but there’s better cover that previous seasons. A rejuvenated Ollie is a good sign and I have hopes for Nadesan and Broomfield. And I do think the guitarist and singer is a good idea to get a bit more feel good atmosphere before the game . All in all we are on the right track I think
Only non-football negative was loads of kids outside Redz wanting to have a kick around and the Astro closed again. Went to the club office and no one had a key for it. All a bit incompetent for my liking. My young son comes to one game in 3 these days as he’s got a lot of things going on with his Saturdays but playing football with other Crawley youngsters he enjoys most of all. Club just making it harder for me to sell Crawley as a day out to him
...how about Robert and his band the Cure, perhaps they wouldn't mind walking down the road for a sing song or two?
Unfortunately there is no cure, he is a long-suffering QPR fan... no wonder he sounds so miserable.
Missed the game, but still wore my lucky red boxers, just in case... sounds like a stinker, but a late late winner against the banjo pluckers is always worth going through a turgid ninety minutes for, well done all around, even anyone who gave up & left early.
Bet the little one, in the Crawley number 9 shirt with "Daddy" printed on the back, is pretty pleased too...?
I am personally particularly delighted for our man who travels all the way to Crawley home matches from the mean streets of Cheltenham... although he is still a lightweight, glory-hunter...!
Wow, not the best 90 minutes of football this season, but after the Orient and Norwich games no great surprise. Good use of subs by GC and Palmers 5 seconds of brilliance was worth the admission price. I feel we missed the energy of Camara, and I really hope he is fit for the next league game. Oh well another 42 points should see us safe.
Id like to think we can kick on far beyond league safety and mount a promotion challenge. The squad has strengthened and we still have capable players we havnt even used so far this season.
