Very disappointing, firstly it’s worth pointing out Cambridge were absolutely terrible. We were good value and fully deserved to win the game based on the 90 minutes. Incredibly disappointing to concede straightaway yet again after scoring, and a Morris mistake for the 2nd. At the end of the game Bez came over and told us to blame the players and not the gaffa, it quickly shut the Cioffi haters up. Absolutely nothing in that performance suggested we should be calling for the managers head, people need to get a fucking grip. It’s the players that need to take a long hard look at themselves, not the manager. Another Crawley performance that on the balance was very good. Just same old story.
I was listening to the Travel Ken commentary and they did suggest we were the better team. Mistake by Tunnicliffe for the winner? It’s tough when our reliable players do this
We may have been a tad unlucky but what I can't understand and really pisses me off is the fact that the sub we bring on today was so good last year we ship him out to Wealdstone,
we have players like Doherty that are not good enough and that was found out last year so he hardly got a look in during the 2nd half of the season. We we told to give coffi more time to assemble his own squad, fair enough. But the least I expected was to not see some of these players ever again, but no they are the mainstay of the team... Unbelievable... No way should he be given a chance to bring in anyone else... He has got got rid of playing it out of the back which is good but now decided to keep 11 behind the ball at set pieces and I'm surprised nobody mentioned our kick off tactic against Colchester which seems to be to kick it upfield and straight out of play. Something has to give, as a small club results and performances are a massive part of attracting fans and ultimately our survival. But we are on the downward spiral again and that is not good enough..
There’s a good chance Jimmy will be playing in league 2 next year, but I’m not so sure Crawley will be. How people can still support him is beyond comprehension. No tactical awareness, subs are bloody embarrassing and normally turn the game against us, cannot man manage players, no game awareness of when to see out a 1-0 for example, No plan b (possibly a either), has completely ripped out the experience of a strong squad to leave us with a starting 11 of which a few wouldn’t make some conf south teams. No wonder 50 point is target, be a miracle if we get there. Can someone point out what Gabby actually brings to the table?

we’re lucky this year. There are teams worse than us at the bottom and Due to Bury’s expulsion I reckon we are safe. Never know though if we continue to play like this every week.

I dont have an issue with Tarryn. He delivered a sublime cross today that nobody got on the end of He certainly tries and cannot be blamed for today's disappointment. In fact nobody can apart from Lady Luck
Another loss and it’s increasingly looking like an encouraging season is going to Peter out into another season struggling in the bottom half of the table. Fortunately there are some really poor teams in this league and we’ll pick up the odd win at home here and there and the odd point away from home which should see us safe.

Tartan puts the effort in, he puts himself about. If Ferguson had Tarryn’s effort he’d be the best player in the league.
Let’s just face it how many times have we been down this road with managers that have not got a clue the list is so long from Barker to Coffi but at the end of the day he will get his comeuppance like the rest of them. Just not good enough we really need some experience in the Manager position and The playing staff, we are not progressing as we should be and I find it very frustrating. End of rant

Okay, but there are a couple of ways of analysing that statement...(?)
A - we need to change the manager...
B - we need to change our attitude to always seeing changing the manager as the only solution...!
Exactly. Cioffi is the 4th manager of the Eren era. We have tried the experienced lower league boss (Yates), the PL coach (Drummy), the ex pro (Kewell), and the unheard of (Cioffi).
In that time we have bought, sold or loaned dozens of players, many of whom never actually seem to be appear in a Crawley shirt. These include the youth types (Galach, Powell, German etc), the experienced pros (Morais, Vincelot) and the imports (Verheydt, Sanoh, Boadu, Van Velzen). A few like James Collins, Glenn Morris and Enzio have been a success and some have been sold for money, but a lot have been useless.
We have had Top 10 budgets and still ended in the bottom 5 or 6. We have talked great plans (Championship in 8 years??).
Despite all that we are exactly where we were when Eren bought the club. A million a year to stand still, and now the goal is to be self sufficient. A tough gig really, he must be as disappointed as the rest of us.
