Gillingham have refused permission for Satanage to talk to Steve Evans about their vacant manager's position. Can't see him wanting to drop down a division tbh. He would probably be able to keep them up I reckon, so fingers crossed he doesn't go there and we can say TTFO to Satanage at the end of the season.
Despite Gillingham being a bit short of money, Evans would be completely stupid in my opinion to leave there to go to Stevenage especially as Stevenage have one of the smallest budgets in our league too. It would be like us trying to get say Gareth Ainsworth off Wycombe
Strangely enough both Gillingham and Stevenage have virtually identical records. Both teams sit 2 points and 2 places above the drop zone in their respective divisions. Agree with previous post that he’d be better off staying at Gillingham. Although the fact we have to play Stevenage twice yet this season makes me want him to go there so we can give him a bit of stick. His behaviour at our game against Gillingham in the EFL cup earlier this season was disgraceful - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/58269640

"Evans used abusive and insulting words towards a match official" ??
It was some of the worst behaviour I've ever seen from a manager at a live football game (and I've witness some hideous behaviour from staff at our own club too) and with his past history and all that I don't think he should be allowed to work in football to be honest.
If I was a Stevenage fan I would honestly tell the board to stop wasting their time and look at more sensible and realistic candidates for the role

So in this post you want him to preserve his career by not taking a bad job and in your next post you want him banned? Adds up

I only just used it to make the point that moving from a League 1 team (albeit one that isn't doing too well and doesn't have a lot of money) to a League 2 club that has one of the smallest budgets in the division and are currently 21st would be like a turkey voting for Christmas. Don't see how that is supporting him in any way at all, I would be laughing at him to be honest for even thinking about that idea, let alone wanting to go ahead with it. And as for wanting him banned from football, look at what happened when he was at Boston, I mean that's a great case study to look at for any students researching corruption in English football
