First time we've won (or picked up a point for that matter) since 9th October, and very pleased for Tilley of course especially as I think he's been a bit harshly treated this season. Clean sheet added bonus too and seemed like the new formation payed off. I also think last week's match getting cancelled was probably the best thing that could have happened, and pointed this out when I was talking to Erdem and the media guys on Tuesday
Double header of home games now and I cannot help but feel these will be massive, I think 4 points out of them would be a respectable return
Appiah with the assist. If he isn't scoring he's assisting. Great signing he's been.
Would you say he's been a better signing than Watters was? The main thing I am worried about Appiah is wherever we might lose him to the African Cup of Nations when that kicks off in January, as I'm pretty sure Ghana's management team will be having a look at his form. Also saw your post about Nadesan being subbed, did he look like he was losing his temper somewhat?
Great clean sheet And don’t forget ‘Pirlo’ Powell played too! 😂 Haven’t seen anything of the match but good to see him played in the middle again rather than out on the right.
Great result and I look forward to Tuesday evening now!

I wasn't there so can't really comment too much but I guess the formation change probably helped as well as having more dynamic attacking players in there (rather than Payne who from what I've seen recently can't grasp the fact you can actually pass the ball forwards in football). Be interesting to see if Lynch is actually put back in the team on Tuesday too seeing that his ban has now expired
Great win glad I made the trip, the key was dogging out the first half against the wind. Then we patiently waited for our chance and Tilley showed as like last season he can finish. Wonderful scenes at the end

Watters was undoubtedly a better signing in that he both had more of an impact and landed the club a big fee at a time when we needed it. Appiah has performed better than I expected to be honest, I don’t think he’ll score 20 goals this season, but he could easily get 10-15 which would certainly help us to push up at the table.
Regarding Nadesan, I wasn’t at the game at all it was just a tongue-in-cheek comment! I’m sure his running gave is another dimension in attack.
