Excellent point re Chester. Quite unique circumstances. I would be very concerned if 3 were relegated from L2, having 1 less has kept quite a few clubs up over previous years and I think Crawley would be looking over their shoulder all the more.
Indeed it is a very unique case. And I doubt 3 up 3 down from League 2/National League will ever happen unless the FA decide as these things are normally done by a vote between clubs, and choosing one more team to get relegated would be a bit like turkeys voting for Christmas
Not sure if you will believe this but the strangest thing happened today...
I was after the Xmas decorations that were stored in the loft, for the first time ever, I noticed an old wardrobe and decided to peek inside. Next thing you know, I discovered it is a portal to a parallel universe & entered a strange mystical world. where mythical creatures spoke to me of the great battle between good & evil that had recently concluded.
Yet most fantastically of all, in the area known as the "high Moral ground" stood England football fans and without any irony, ridicule or even any hint of hypocrisy, they were able to pass judgement on the antics of the fans of other nations...!
No, you're right, no-one could ever believe that last bit.
Let's get this straight; no windows were broken on the Port Vale supporters bus in question; so, this begs the question, this was no serious attack on the PV supporters and secondly, noone can point the finger at Newport County supporters at this juncture.
It’s certainly not bullshit that some of their fans decided to go in the home areas at the match in October 2010, making themselves known and lashing out at Crawley fans celebrating a goal. The subsequent fracas which took place ultimately led to Crawley fans being banned, but I believe none of theirs.

Hmm, first let me say I was not on the coach, I didn't witness the incident and have not received a first hand account from someone involved.
I posted this in this thread because it was, like the original post, an incidence of violence involving people (most likely) from Wales and (most likely) supporting a Welsh team. No further information so it is possible the people involved (if they were people, I have seen no description) could be visiting AC Milan supporters but Occam's razor would suggest otherwise.
I will respectfully disagree with your assessment of what constitutes a serious attack. Throwing bricks at a moving vehicle imho constitutes a possible threat to life.

Ps, Occam was a medieval monk who had lots of weird ideas but his was one of the first to postulate that in a myriad of possible solutions one should select the one with the fewest assumptions.

An attack on a supporters coach, always targets windows, like this fact, or not, Jim; please reassess.

Are you being deliberately thick? You say yourself it was an attack on a supporters coach, and that windows were targeted. Yet you don't think that constitutes a serious attack? Jesus christ....
