Shame as it’s always seemed one of the more stable and well run clubs locally operating at a decent level. Don’t know why but seen various speculation from protest at unreasonable criticism from fans to money problems

There was an interview with Kevin Anderson on BBC Sussex the resident Eastbourne expert the other night and he tried to explain what was going on and I tried to follow it, but I still didn’t have a scooby doo about it. Internal politics probably lol. It sounded like a weird set up with their being two two organisations- Eastbourne Borough FC and Langley sports club and both wanted different things.
There used to be a club called Langney Wanderers that shared the same ground at Eastbourne Borough, but they went bust in March last year because of financial issues
Indeed they did, shame as they’d made their way up from local football, but I guess that having 4 clubs in the town was 1 too many? In fact I think I can say I can say I saw their last ever match at Pagham just before Christmas 2020, unless they played in the Supplementary Shield in April….🤔
Eastbourne Borough were previously known as Langney Sports.
