A lot of talk tonight Kewell is trying to force Cox out. To be fair if I was Cox I would walk. Kewell is clueless and it about to get messy as the run of dreadful home results continues.
I was sat about 3 seats away from Cox and my Dad had a word with him and asked if he was fit for next Saturday and he said yes, so he asked if he would be playing and Cox said 'I doubt it'.
I think he's just out of favour with Kewell.
He can't be any worse than that awful lot tonight, even if we are overloaded with wide players.
Also RE Cox, he looked visibly embarrassed when Taj was getting heckled as he was substituted. I don't condone it, but I totally understand after THAT performance.
Not sure if it was more out of professional pride at seeing one of his teammates being embarrassed by his own fans, or that he actually secretly agreed that Taj was awful.
After nine games our goal difference is the same as last year, eight better than the season before that and seven better than the season before that.
As Supertramp once said "Crisis, What Crisis?"
I think the stat of five home games four defeats is part of any crisis. That and the fact that for big parts of the the last two home games we have played dire hoofball. That and the fact we dont have a "proper" goalscorer and on the evidence of last night little or no creativity in midfield and no on field leader to get them passing the ball rather than just hoofing it back to the Newport defence to allow them to start another attack. "Crisis, What Crisis?"!!!!
