Just announced Mark Hughes as their new manager, bit of a drop for him but a great appointment.. Also just noticed that despite being below us in the table and have played 3 games more , Bradford are currently 250/1 to get relegated on a betting site I just visited and we are 100/1 ...don't know why we are longer bets
A bit odd really, I suppose because bookies must think there is a chance of a new manager bounce and a better chance of Bradford winning 11 or 12 of last 16 games with 20,000+ people in the gate.
It will be interesting to see how he does at this level seeing that all of his past experience has been in the Premier League. League 2 is a totally different kind of football
Also notable that the manager he replaced (Derek Adams) has just returned to Morecambe only nine months after leaving there to go to Bradford
Not the best of starts to life in League 2 for Mark Hughes as his Bradford team lost to Mansfield.
I wonder who will be the next high profile person to manage a team in this division? Wouldn't be surprised if a club in our league appoints Tony Pulis soon tbf
