I do have a soft spot for Cioffi, he was very passionate about the club and put his all into it. Shame it didn’t work out but now he’s managing Udinese!
The management game is a bit strange and managers can get sacked consistently and up progressing in their careers. He seemed like a good character and a liked his enthusiasm so I hope he makes the most of this fortunate break.

Earlier in his career Brendan Rodgers got sacked by Reading after only 6 months in the role, two and a half years afterwards he then became Liverpool manager. Not saying Cioffi is going to be Real Madrid or Man United manager anytime soon but you never know sometimes in football.

So true, wouldn't it be great if he can here with a top team in a pre season friendly
The powers that be should get on the phone to Cioffi if he's still Udinese manager this summer and get them down to play a friendly at the Broadfield!
P.s Forest still owe us a friendly!!
I'd like to see us play against a Premier League team in a friendly to be fair, think it would give a bit of a better indication to whereabouts our level is that than games against Horley or Three Bridges. Did hear one or two things about us maybe playing Southampton this summer but not sure
