It is difficult to see at the moment how Salford will attract crowds. The ground is in a residential area with residents only parking. It is only served by busses. They are planning to move to a new ground close to the city centre with better access. Ground capacity of 5000. They may be tinpot but their pies and chips are far superior, cheaper and quicker served than those at Crawley.
Maybe we should have Nadesan serving up the half-time refreshments. His pace would be useful.
Last time I went, I arrived at the bar in the south-east corner just as the half-time whistle blew. I walked away with my cuppa when the second half was about two minutes old. There wasn't a particularly large queue either. I don't want to sound too critical because I'm sure they do their best at a job I would hate doing, but I'm thinking of taking a flask next time.

Think this is replacing the hand dryers topic but agree really slow service and little or no organisation or understanding of queue management. HAs anybody exchanged there season ticket free pastry offer successfully?

I did earlier in season and nearly choked on it. Tasted something like that chewed up cardboard they serve at Forest Green. Wish I hadn't bothered.

Yes, I exchanged mine for a can of Pepsi Max. Haven't braved the food at the ground for a while.

Yes I have used up both of my coupons but I often get in the ground early after the turnstiles open so the queues aren't as bad

Yes - twice in fact, for both me and my son. A pastry on one occasion and chips on another. Earlier in the season I got turned away with them but I believe the club had a word in their ear since to accept them
