I don't think it will make much difference to match attendances, there is still a strong appetite for going to games in person even with the amount that gets shown on TV and midweek attendances aren't really affected by Champions League fixtures happening at the same time. Only affect it would have would be on illegal streaming

It's ridiculous really that you can watch a 3pm Premier League match everywhere else in the world apart from the country in which it is actually being played in

But you can watch a Saturday live game in the UK ....directly ahead of AND immediately following... attending a match live with a 3pm kick-off...!
Is it ridiculous though? It is understandable, and I could see it impacting us, I’m sure Champions League nights affect our gates.
I think there's still clearly a demand for live football and our midweek gates have been more down the club not promoting itself as much as it should rather than Champions League fixtures

How can you possibly quantify that it’s the clubs fault? How many people do you see at the ground with merchandise from the big clubs in the ground each week? I’ll answer for you, quite a few. Now come a Tuesday night and their team is on the box in a champions league or premier league tie, or the delicious prospect of Crawley Town vs Oldham, I think we all know what they are going to be doing
