Glenn Morris sweeping the board with both the fans and players' awards for best of season. Can't really argue when he gets that particular double!
Nice brace for Nick Tsaroulla also, young player and also got goal of the season.
Good shouts for Tony Craig for away player of the season as voted for by the coach goers and Joel Lynch getting an award for topping the Observer player ratings over the season.
Ludwig getting the community award.
I'd only say Kwesi is a bit unlucky not to feature in those names but I'm sure everyone has their own views about deserving cases. Onwards and upwards to next season when the outfield lags must surely give Glenn a better run for his money!
Got to say all deserved. Bit concerning that all the winners, our best performing players of the year, play in defence yet we have one of the worst goals against record in the league. Individually we have good defenders, agreed by the fans, reporters and players but as a team we are poor defensively. Is that a mental strength/concentration thing, lack of support from midfield, being out manouvered by opponents tactics or just not been coached well defensively, the whole team not just the defenders? With the number of experienced senior pros in there you have to doubt the first yet we consistently underperform against the bottom 2, all teams lose to them sometimes, but we consistently, season after season, fail to beat teams who are low on confidence, belief and ability. Think it was Stevenage in 2020 when we last beat a team the finished in that relegation places.

The defenders are clearly not as good as is made out. A bang average midfield that gets overrun too easily certainly doesn't help. How many times have we got done on the counter as well?!
I've had this discussion about our midfield a few times over the last couple of seasons Alex.
The amount of times you see an opposition midfielder/attacker pick up the ball in their half and the next person challenging him is one of our centre halfs on the edge of the box is truly worrying.
Well done to Glenn but for the team to have a successful season someone else needs to win it next...maybe give Glenn the spectator of the season next year would be good. 👍
