I would say yes to that, as it is a private matter.
Ok, interesting. Can I clarify then, hypothetically, is it an offensive question to ask if someone is going to attend any games to support the team? That's got to be the lowest of low bars surely?
Hypothetically or not, it depends on the offer.
I wouldn't commit to buying a car without seeing the price and spec either. And if the dealer took a month to figure the cost out I would assume he wasn't serious.

I saw a tweet from Preston this week saying that season ticket prices are definitely not increasing and there is a very strong chance that they will be cheaper than last season. Very encouraged by that.
Also he's said there's just a couple of admin bits that need to be done but they should be released very soon.
very soon seems to be taking a while still if a good price I will be happier
On the contrary, in a discussion about funding of the club, it's fair to ask what part we as fans have to play in that. We have to play some part surely?
Is it really an offensive question to ask if someone is going to be a season ticket holder or not? Blimey
I would say yes to that, as it is a private matter.
I think in the lower leagues the fans contribute more than say in the premier league due to TV, sponsorship, naming rights etc. My preference would be a reduced season ticket price which would hopefully attract more punters through the door.

I think Simon has a very valid point - too little going on, no sharing of info and I wonder how many 'fans' will be tempted to watch a higher level as things drag on. Many of us have two teams, Crawley are probably number 1 for most but I'm sure many grew up like me supporting a league team and watching Crawley because we lived there without ever thinking that we would get to the rarefied position we now occupy!! If the 'other' team is offering a good deal, I'm sure some will be jumping ship. I wont because I value this experience after watching so many non league games but football quality, match experience etc has left a lot to be desired in recent years. Come on owners, sort it out.
Billy sells cakes for £1. Last month he sold 100 cakes. Billy decides to cut the price of cakes to 80p. Questions:
1. How many cakes does he need to sell this month to generate the same revenue?
2. Billy is confident that at the lower price he will sell 125 cakes. What will be the overall effect on his income?
Answers on a postcard to Preston Johnson, c/o Crawley Town FC. A prize of a free NFT is offered for the first correct answer selected at random. A cash alternative of 10p is available.

The cakes would produce lower income. Although the turnover (£100) would be the same, the profit margin would be lower due to additional ingredients. There would also be the possibility of a higher fuel cost if the higher number of cakes cannot fit within the oven. There would also be a higher labour charge, or a lower hourly rate if doing all the work oneself.
A higher number of supporters (cakes) might require higher staffing costs (ingredients), but the pro rata would possibly be less extreme than with the cakes e.g. double the number of supporters probably wouldn't require double staff.

Good one 😂. Did I mention the cakes were 20% smaller in line with the latest guidance from Boris Johnson (no relation - I hope).
If only you had taken a month to come up with the answer you might have won the NFT.

Dear Simon, are you going to buy a cake if we ask nicely, it might improve your ratio of cakes/messageboard posts, best wishes Billy xx

Dear Customer. Unfortunately there are no cakes on sale at our Crawley branch at any price. In fact we regret to advise you the master baker left on 6th May and 3 weeks later we haven't been able to organise a replacement. Please accept our apologies for this unfortunate mix up, we would like to offer you a free NFT as a gesture of goodwill.

Well the clock is ticking on that excuse! Next week/week after, I guess it will be the wrong kind of cake icing

No one likes a Billy smartie, its simple Simon have patience
To be honest, people's impatience to hand over their season ticket money to the club does them credit - July has to be approaching on the calendar before I even start thinking about it!
