Listened to the Preston interview for the full hour and was more impressed than I have been at any time. The guys running it were a little star struck but thought the whole session was well worth a listen and watch.
He did explain more about what NFTS's were and his concept for our club. He alluded to the sale of NFT's being like a virtual season ticket allowing holders to get benefit's unique to them. That was helpful. He did also stress that he wanted us local fans to be fully involved. On the NFT point he explained that owners could be easily validated using block chain so for example if there were 20 physical copies of the Mona Lisa you could see who had the real one - again helpful. I don't still understand why people pay millions for art work NFTs and don't own the physical painting - anybody know? What do they get for their money?
Anyway in essence as he explained his background its clear he is a gambler at heart ready to take a chance and he would appear to have been successful at that so far so here's hoping the model he envisages of selling Crawley Town(or potentially Wagmi United as well - to be decided) works and we get many stakeholders pumping money into the club.
Yes its a risk but as I mentioned, the more I see of him, the more I think his hopes are our hopes and the ride will be seat of the pants stuff but it wont be boring and for that he has my support
Indeed - whatever you think of their ambitions (whether you think they are within reach with a bit of hard work, or just a total moonshot), there's no denying that Preston has come across so far as very plausible and personable from day 1 of his very first interview. I doubt if there is any owner in football who has been so willing to press the flesh and meet all the fans and listen to their feedback. You've got to credit them for that. I'm default at heart a crypto sceptic but I'm willing to give anyone a chance if they put the hours in and open themselves up to feedback. Ziya was a decent owner but never put himself out there to this degree to meet the fans

Any move to rename the club must be resisted with full force.
Don't think thats the plan but could well be a dual marketing with Wagmi being the main brand elsewhere as its likely that if the new model works Wagmi will be much more well known than little ole Crawley Town (who weren't even deemed worthy of city status)

Couldn't agree more - it might all end in tears but we are in it together now and they have a team who have experts in their field available to us. Liverpool make use of many 'non football' type experts and look how they have done. After 4-5 years of relative tedium (but also a success as we were comfortably positioned in league 2) I relish the potential upside and fear less about any downside as there is a feeling of anticipation and excitement that hasn't been with us since Steve Evans led us to glory.
If we get a winning side on the pitch then no one will care about NFT’s or Crypto’s - all we will care about will be the 3 points - anyway I’m up for the ride - it starts today with the team returning for the pre-season
