With these going on sale tomorrow how many new or lapsed season ticket holder’s do you think are going to take up the offer - I’m hoping for a record number for next season- would be good to get to 1500 including the existing ones - that would be a good start.
Hopefully we will have record season ticket sales in response to some great pricing by the new owners who I think in turn deserve to be rewarded for reaching out an olive branch to fans with these lower prices. Only reason I won’t buy a season ticket is that I am due to work Saturdays so won’t be able to get to games, but I will definitely try to get to as many home games as I can.
I'm still mulling it over: a season ticket would save me £60 over the season (6 games), but I'm likely to miss more than 6 games anyway so would not actually be a saving. However, I have to balance that up with some of the other benefits such as priority access if a sellout cup game comes along. I could also bring a couple of friends along free of charge to a game but I can't think of anyone I hate that much.
July 8th is the cutoff for those extra benefits so no need to decide for a while, especially as I stand.
I think letting U12s in for free will hopefully help attract a lot more families, and in turn encourage more local kids to support us rather than the big PL clubs.

NGL that did make me laugh a lot when I read it
Hopefully though the football will turn out to be so much better that we won't see taking our mates along to games as a form of torture, but rather a pleasurable experience
I personally wish the season ticket included access to ifollow (even if it was say a handful of home games per season) as I miss some midweek matches working but pay again to watch on ifollow.

I certainly already know of one person who attended a fair few games last season upgrading to a ST.
1,500 is an ambitious target but anything is possible with the right publicity and marketing buzz. A good flow of impressive signings will help now, it's when they started happening with Evans' Project Promotion soundbites to the Press that attendances started the upswing last time round
I think the crucial point is about the publicity for this move. No good slashing the prices if the only people who know about it are the ones who will probably get one anyway. I have some sympathy with the office staff here as owing to previous budget restraints, there probably aren’t enough of them to do everything. I know there was talk in the press conference about increasing staff numbers and hopefully that will help longer term but in the meantime we need to push this as much as possible to the town and surrounding area.
Looks like they have more staff already as there was additional people doing the season tickets when I renewed ours this morning
Do you know if they are going to be there all week? As I'm probably going to do my renewal on Thursday as am busy with other stuff before then
I have no idea but my guess is they may have a extra staff in for the first week anticipating it'll be busier. What I found was I rang and got my call answered straight away. That was rare in the past. Encouraging and happy to have renewed.
I would urge everybody that can to take up the offer of the low prices especially if you fit into one of the concession categories the price is very low for that and even for the adult pricing band it's still pretty good. It sounds like the new owners are making an effort to staff the ticket office and admin staff sufficently so let's hope this leads to record season tickt sales. Shame I can't commit to a season ticket now they have reduced the prices.

That's probably because of the change of ownership that's happened since then. I'm going to ring them tomorrow and get it sorted then, I remember last year I got the train down to the ground to buy them because I couldn't trust them to answer the call on time
