I have no idea but my guess is they may have a extra staff in for the first week anticipating it'll be busier. What I found was I rang and got my call answered straight away. That was rare in the past. Encouraging and happy to have renewed.
That's probably because of the change of ownership that's happened since then. I'm going to ring them tomorrow and get it sorted then, I remember last year I got the train down to the ground to buy them because I couldn't trust them to answer the call on time
Hmm yeah I understand where you are coming from Steve. My experience last season of buying tickets wasn't great with paying the extra couple of quid for them to be posted out only for the tickets to never arrive and having to phone up to check and they had no record of them being sent and then having to collect on the day and then on one or two ocassions collecting on the day and them not having my tickets and having to sit me elswhere and then moving to original seat once the game started as luckily no one was sat there. Hopefully things will improve (I could go on about ticket problems last season, but I won't bore everyone).
I would urge everybody that can to take up the offer of the low prices especially if you fit into one of the concession categories the price is very low for that and even for the adult pricing band it's still pretty good. It sounds like the new owners are making an effort to staff the ticket office and admin staff sufficently so let's hope this leads to record season tickt sales. Shame I can't commit to a season ticket now they have reduced the prices.
Yep - and seems there’s been a decent first day rush given the figures being reported. I’ll be boosting the numbers at the end of the month lol
How many season tickets will the club have to sell this year at the reduced rate to get the same revenue as last years at the higher price. I hope we sell a lot more for the coming season and earn more.

From what I understand if the new 'model' works, it wont matter as majority of revenue will come from the armchair fans across the globe

Who have now been absolutely blitzed by the crypto crash, which is still playing out. Timing couldn’t be worse for these guys.
I've noticed there's a minority of them that think they will win the league easily this season because of the ticket sales numbers. Football doesn't work like that though, otherwise we might as well not bother watching.
Anyway, I managed to sort out my renewal this morning, key thing with stats is how many we eventually sell by the time the first home match of the league season comes along. That would be a better comparison to make against last season's total, although I have a strong feeling that attendances will be higher due to the new direction and manager (especially if he gets the team performing well from the off)
It’s good that the sales are apparently going well but I really don’t see the point of trying to compare with last year’s figures as they are two totally different situations. How quickly people forget that this time last year we had come out of lockdowns and other Covid restrictions with some people still very unwilling to go to any event where there were a lot of others. Some probably didn’t want to invest in a season ticket if the season could potentially be curtailed again or matches have to be played behind closed doors.
As for the Bradford fans or any one else taking the mick out of our attendances, there are always a few idiots about with Billy Big Potatoes attitudes. It’s probably best that they carry on underestimating us.
Amazing value. Do I have a complaint. Yes as Im 66 i waited 5 years for the old peoples rate now its available those youngster's. Get down and buy. Looking forward to an exciting season.

Ha ha. Similar for me, but at 65
If I have to take proof of age, I don't know if that's an insult or a compliment.
