I wasn't able to see the QPR game but there were plenty of complimentary comments about Brandon and if he performs for us like his YouTube clips we will have got one very exciting wide left player.

Yes he was very good against QPR on the wing. He is listed as a defender, but he looks much more like a winger from what I've seen!
I did think you looked pretty good v QPR however, I do think it's odd that the twitter feed is saying you are the "prestige" signing promised to the fans and nft holders after the recent vote.
While thus far I'm very happy with the new new owners I think supporters selecting players is a bit gimmicky, I think player selection should be in what appears to me to be the capable hands of Mr Betsy.

I reckon it may have been why the options in the vote were more broader and didn't mention specific players or roles. Think a few people are reading too much into it and although I like the idea of being able to have somewhat of an influence on transfers as a supporter of the club, the key stuff in terms of finding the exact player and the role they'll play should be left to more qualified people like Mr Betsy, which appears to be what's done here
Steve; Im just a little bit worried that it undermines a fragile ownership model. The nft owners were promised a "significant" signing. All credit to Brandon Mason. He looks like a decent addition to the squad but you would hardly call him 'significant'.
The next time the nft's are put on sale who will believe the press release stating (such things as) 'you will have a real input into club signings'?
No disrespect meant to Mr Mason but this is poor from Wagmi and the club imho.

Jim Baker
It's a bit silly Jim, but it was inevitable. KB will know who he wants and in what positions so unless views coincided some form of fit up was inevitable.
It would have been more tricky if people voted for a keeper but even then easily overcome with a cheap and cheerful type signing.
