The notion that the club is communicating less than the Ziya regime is not my experience. All the important/vital info is on the official website. The one thing really "extra" they can't do on there is the Twitter spaces, which again is worth the extra investment in your time in my opinion if you want to do it, but not everyone will want to - I think I've only had the time to do about half of them myself? Worth it but time-consuming - similar to the Youtube stuff Joe Comper did in previous years but better because you have more chance of fan input. Discord is really only for those interested in the detail/culture of NFTs, I've lost interest in that because I'm not greatly, tho they seem a nice bunch - gm and all that.
I really don't think we have a boilerplate one-size-fits-all fan any more, we have lots of different kind of people supporting the club who will be interested in different levels of engagement, and I think the club media reflects that more than ever, and that's a good thing
“The more elaborate our means of communication, the less we communicate.”
The words of Joseph Priestly, not me.
Communication from the club and owners, all seems to be a bit disjointed, there's twitter, there's facebook, there's discord, the club website, etc.
I think it would be good for the club and owners to make clear where important information for fans will be posted.
Any thoughts ?
I agree. The best example of this is the Brandon Mason signing(really happy with that btw). On the Wagmi Discord/twitter they state that Brandon is the outcome of the vote for investors and season ticket holders. I have my own thoughts on that as we’ve bought him as he’s a good player not because of a vote but Brandon appears to be happy to support the whole Wagmi project. On the Website it mentions nothing about it. This issue reared it’s ugly head with the Yems situation.
