On the coach home yesterday from Harrogate we voted for the man of the match - and to no one’s surprise it was a landslide victory for Tony Craig - his performance was absolutely brilliant and kept the team in the game - constantly talking and encouraging our team to keep going - you can’t buy experience like that - so are you calling me and all on the coach Craig family members.
Tony Craig does not concede 1.8 goals every time he plays - the team concedes 1.8 goals or are you saying that it’s his fault for every goal that we let in while he is on the pitch which is ludicrous.
I take on Board what many of you have said about Craig the last 2 matches - he has had 2 very good games. However, we still concede 1.8 goals every time he has started for Crawley and if we are relying on Craig together with a proven Mid Table Midfield of Powell & Hess, then i'm afraid Bottom half awaits us. I thought the Dynamic WAGMI were trying to get Promotion, well it wont happen the way we are going! Very Disappointing Really.
Ideally we wanted the following results from our 1st 4 matches of the season. WIN - League Match 1 WIN - League Match 2 LOSE - EFL Match 3 WIN - League Match 4.
Based on that, we have had a disastrous start to the season.
EFL match? That’s an English Football League match…
Just to let you know that I don’t give a monkey’s about your statistics all I know is that Tony Graig is one of the best central defenders we have had - his leadership and experience counteracts any thing you constantly bicker about - and I’m certain others feel the same - last Tuesday and yesterday proved that.
There aint much football knowledge on this Forum is there? I Personally think Player's Relatives & Friends are Members on this site trying to boost there Men! It was very obvious that when Josh Wright & Mark Wright left the club that many names on this site disappeared, but I guess Admin did not look into that.
Polly gets my vote for most knowledgable on this forum!
😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Ah yes, I remember you making similar accusations previously as to people’s links with the club…and got it completely wrong by claiming that Alain was an employee of the club😂😂😂🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Admin need to kick these Craig, Powell, Hess Family & Friends Forum Members off the site. It really is taking the Biscuit - which CTFC Fan wants another Mid Table Finish when supported with WAGMI MONEY? Admin were Slow or didnt act on the Wright Family & Friends Members who were on this Forum for 6 months!
Early last season I was calling for Craig to be dropped and I have to hold my hands up and admit I got it completely wrong. Especially since we have gone to a back three he has been first class and that’s not over a few games it’s over maybe 25-30. You don’t have the career he’s had without having something about you. I’d say at the moment first name on the sheet. I think after the whole Wright episode, I got dragged into thinking yems was playing his mates despite form. Anyway my bad and Craig has certainly proved me wrong.
CTFC have conceded '1.8' goals every time Craig has started! FACT! GOOGLE IT! He has partnered some good centre backs also! Tunnicliffe, Lynch, Ludwig, Many Others. Stats do not matter over a few matches. Over more than 50 matches they DO MATTER!
Impossible !! He played 90 minutes in the Harrogate game and ...................................................... We did NOT concede a SINGLE goal !!

I must admit when I saw him first half of QPR friendly I thought he looked really off the pace and pretty much said 'he'll struggle to get more than 5 games this season'. But then last Tuesday in a game that mattered way, way more he goes and puts in the best performance I think I've seen from him in 2 years. He pretty much won every tackle and stopped a number of attacks that looked dangerous, plus he has surprised me in that he has adapted to the new style a lot better than I thought he would. And I heard yesterday was a similar story in regards to him too.
