How long are you prepared to wait for the first league win? 10 games? 12 games? 15 games? 20 games? The longer we go without a win the harder it will be for us to get up the league. I expected mid table minimum this season considering Betsy has a higher budget them Yems and he comfortably finished in mid table in the 2 full seasons he had as manager. I'd say Betsy is already under pressure after such a bad start.
The way some people in here are happy for crumbs I say we will are be starved of any success if we wait any longer. 7 games and not a single win. Sack him now. He hasnt a clue.
I have to disagree. I think we have made a very bad start but I see evidence that our decent coach is learning to be a decent manager.
I May be wrong, I'm not the font of all knowledge but I think we should at least give a person a bit of time to learn.
Small thing but interesting nonetheless, Betsy did better this week at Salford than Steve Evans did last Saturday. Given how well Evans has started at Stevenage, it points to good work today
A couple of others in the is thread have alluded to it but will say it. This dislike of the new manager is born from support of Yems and the way he left. I think they want the club and manager to fail. Betsy didn't get Yems charged by the FA.
There dislike is so overt you do wonder how deem it runs.
The defending on the second Salford goal is appalling. There’s no excuse for not being switched on from a corner and allowing them to play a short one like that. Good point in the end though.
It looks like a good away point but the truth is we were very lucky. Salford carved us open time and again far too easily and they can only blame themselves for poor finishing. It was good that we came from behind twice proves that we do have spirit. I’ve want to give Betsy a chance but I do question some of he’s decisions especially yesterday when signing Fellows as a striker he starts him at right wing back and he clearly has no idea how to defend however when he played further up in the second half he looked decent . I think we might have a good one there.

Nonsense. A lot of those who want Betsy out - and I'm not one of them - are saying so because of our appalling league form. Stop claiming conspiracies when there are none.
Tend to agree their is something deep routed and sinister in the dislike of Bettsy I don't like. Whether it's linked to misguided support of our previous manager who is racing serious FA charges or otherwise. It isn't justified and should be called out.

Barca, if the team had won 4 games, drew 1 and lost 2 do you still think there would be calls to get rid of him?
I happen to think we've had a tough run of home league games, Orient, Northampton and Wimbledon will be looking at the play offs as a minimum this season so to lose against them is not a disaster, to lose all three is genuinely worrying though.
Team loses, fans call for bosses head, team wins boss should be next England manager. I would honestly think it was more sinister if it was any other way.

[br Are you Steve's Spanish cousin?😁
Lol any conspiracy theory will do, we love ‘em all 🤣

Yes overall there are two big factors at work, there is this ever growing impatience among fans at every club to not give managers any time at all to implement complicated rebuilding projects for the team. And then there is this separate Yems-Wagmi thing rumbling specifically away here.
It's a tough wicket for Betsy despite the extra money he's had but these are the challenges good managers have to face down. The majority of fans will get behind him as soon as the wins start ticking over regularly, before that I hope the unhappy can discipline themselves not to start attacking the players if we are behind in games.
The Orient and Wimbledon atmosphere was very muggy and we still have a job to do in the stands to lift the players, whatever we think of the manager and if he’ll succeed here or not

I've seen Swindon fans calling for their manager to be sacked already, plus in a L2 chat I'm in I heard from a few Stockport ones that there had been a couple up there calling for Challinor to go despite him taking the club back up quite emphatically in the end. Funny what a few iffy results can do

If half the fans here had been Man Utd fans in the mid 80s they would have wanted Ferguson out after 15 games. Look at yourselves. Ambitious young coach, lots of new signings, give them a chance. Watched on iFollow yesterday and we were the better team for 60 minutes. Just get behind the team and you’ll see them climb the table, far too good to go down.

You must have watched a different game to me mate and I was there. We were lucky to get the draw but at least we showed a bit of fight coming from behind twice.
