One of the things that p***es me off the most is the amount of abuse and slagging off the owners get. I feel that if they were conventional owners doing the same things, they wouldn't get the same abuse. For example, Preston tweeting about NFL and he's getting messages like "concentrate on Crawley" as if he can't have a life outside of football.
So I ask you, what do the current owners have to do to win you over?
Well, according to some reports at the time they paid off £7 million of debt (that's paid off as opposed to defer or debt manage).
They lodged £2 million as guarantor against debt with the FA.
They (tried to) explain the use of NTFs as a funding mechanism in a football context and then raised £4 million through that mechanism in one day, all of which was for the club.
They brought in a new, young manager to take the club forward.
They gave Betsy an exceedingly large budget to bring new players in, which included Dom Telford, James Balagizi and other significant signings.
They slashed the season ticket/entry prices.
They are starting to make professional changes to the club, such as overnight stays for the lengthier away days.
They are looking at a range of options for the redevelopment of the East Stand/stadium.
They have transformed the quality and range of the matchday catering.
They have injected an enthusiasm and excitement at the club that hasn't been there for years.
They introduced more stats as a means to improve player recruitment and performance.
They have been very vocal and visible as owners.
They have helped to create some of the best moments in the club's history.

impressive perhaps because if we cant stay in league 2 then all this will be for nothing. The club will most likely go into freefall possibly fold and the Americans will run away never mind walk away. League status is paramount. Nothing below last seasons end of season position and tally will be aceptable. So for me the owners have to act on league status. As soon as thats at risk. Sack Betsy. Do not hesitate. Hopefully he will turn things around. I wont be singing sack him whilst the lads are playing. Hopefully I wont sing it at all. But Im not singing Betsy's red army. Far from that. You need to do far far far more to win me over Kevin as the tippy tap football is shockingly bad. I didn't go to Salford but hopefully we ditched that style. Can anyone confirm?

Sack Betsy. No wins in 7 league matches is a pathetic return. How lucky are we only 2 get relegated. The league firm is totally unacceptable. He has to go so a new manager can rescue a promotion push. SACK BETSY.

Completely agree, I have no fault with the owners, they have given our club a huge boost and opportunity for growth. They listen to the supporters and are making the match day experience as enjoyable as possible. I can see it’s working too as attendances appear to have gone up which is encouraging. If our poor form continues then they will need to make a difficult decision. I’m sure they don’t want to pour the millions they have into the club just to have us go down.

I think most people will be happy with what the owners have done so far. Although they installed Betsy as manager, it's mostly down to Betsy and the players that results have been so poor so far. Hopefully results will improve.
