Looking at the stats, once again it showed that Crawley mustered eight shots at goal with only TWO on target. It also showed that Crewe completed 392 passes against Crawley's magnificent 519 passes and with Crawley having 56% possession to Crewe's 44%. Betsy will no doubt be ecstatic with that return !!
The only stat that matters, is how many times you put the ball in the opposition's net. If you don't shoot you wont score !!

Time must be running out for Betsy.

I guess there is no point reasoning with the sack em mob but I’ll give it a go, the goal Crewe scored came from an individual error by our best player, besides that Crawley had all the best chances. The stats are bunk as all those Crewe shots were just a collection of no hopers that dribbled well wide or massively over the bar, they would rate barely anything on xG. The game was largely very even
I did say I thought Baker-Richardson was a decent player...should of kept me big gob shut.
I am concerned a out the number of shots we are having. It's poor and it needs working on. Don't know if that was the cause of the defeat today. I will wait for those that were there to give an account.

I get what you’re saying Steve and I do admire your optimism but there comes a point where you have to say this isn’t good enough something needs to change. It happened with Cioffi when a set of fans had a discussion with Ziya outside the ground as he was enjoying a smoke break with Erdem. He was sacked the next day.

They had 6 shots on target to 2, so they couldn't all have been well wide or massively over. Also 9 corners to 2. But it's goals that count and they also got the only 1.
I'm in the 'give it 10 games' camp, however that's 9 down and if he doesn't get something out of Doncaster/Stevenage the fat lady may be warming up her voice.

What will it take for these owners to wake up and smell the coffee? How many more matches to gel? Get rid now and a new manager at least has half a chance. Or leave it longer and give a new manager no hope this season.
We are in a league of 24 and only 2 go down so far thats our saviour. Thats not going to inspire casual floating fans to attend matches even if you let them in free. Its not good enough. Act now WAGMI!

Im too angry to say much now all i will say is the longer it takes to remove Betsy the longer this club is going under. Enough in enough. He aint good enough.

Crawley looked comfortable in possession, but no real attacking edge hence the few real chances and shots on target. Real lack of quality final ball, though build up was often good.
Crewe had fewer, though did well with the one the had.
Good to see the keeper going up in the final minute for a corner, but why don't we leave one forward up when defending corners?
It seems the players are sticking to rigid instructions which hampers the creativity I think some of them are capable of - to mix it up or run at the defence
Nick T had a good game. Anyone else think another player was noteworthy?
I don’t think Betsy can be more than 5 games from the sack now. 1 win in 9 is poor. The only saving grace so far is that the teams around us are doing so badly as well. In most seasons I would think 6 points out of 9 games would put you in the relegation zone. The good thing about this league is that only 2 go down so you have to spectacularly bad to get relegated. 5 more games and if we don’t see any improvement on results say 6 or 7 points and I think it’s time to cut our losses with Betsy. I know only 2 teams get relegated in this league and we should have enough quality in the squad to stay up, but I think if we leave it too much longer it could leave the next manager too big a job. Telford is fit now, we have Nadesan, Nichols and Telford in attack and that should be enough talent in attack to score goals and win games.
