Personally I'd recommend letters of complaint to a Mr Putin c/o Red Square, Moscow. Fuel costs have and are soaring due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the resultant reduction in supplies, you'll realise that when you get your next bills, but if you want to pay massive increases so that you can continue life without altering your habits then fair enough, go ahead
Innocent people are dying in Ukraine and, horror, they are selfishly disturbing English football kick off times, well bloody hard luck, suck it up and think yourselves lucky that you and your families live here and can whinge at your own pleasure in comfort

I very much doubt the majority of fans would have an issue with this, the Daily Mail have taken a couple of tweets from a similar demographic to the moronic fans we have on twitter. Unfortunately every club has them... some more than others.

I'm a STH. I love going to home games at 3pm on a Saturday, it's traditional, it's very enjoyable and it's part of my life. If the match is moved earlier to 1pm, then I will just go to the stadium earlier. No big deal.
I know it might mean some fans can no longer attend. Equally, it might mean fans who previously couldn't make the game will be able to with an earlier kick-off. It's no different to when the match is postponed due to weather, international call-ups etc, and moved to a Tuesday evening. If clubs can save money by moving to 1pm kick-offs, then they should do it.
It would be interesting to know how much they'll save and effectively what difference that will make. I too prefer 3pm ko - its obviously more troublesome for away fans that will have to leave even earlier. Mansfield may save on electric but lose out on less fans travelling.

It's not like when kick offs are often moved to ridiculous times because of broadcaster preferences

Weird anger directed at people who have nothing to do with any of this?
Parry and Neville (no surprise there) are delusional if they think the PL will amend parachute payments to suit lower league clubs.
Probably, but I assume it's an opening gambit upon which discussions can build. Nobody gets everything they want in their initial statement of intent. Ask for a lot and you may end up getting a little. The main problem might be if the PL wants what remains of lower league clubs' souls.
Looking at this from an away game point of view - it wouldn't make much difference to the times we would have to leave - we would just have to forgo our buffet stops at the game that kicks off early, for the northern matches we do leave early to avoid the hold ups on the M25 - would have the main stop at the motorway services - that probably would have to extend to 45 minutes due to the drivers hours but then travel straight to the stadium.
For home matches - the club would loose out on those who go for the early drink in Redz - but saying that most would get there earlier for their pre-match drink anyway - opening up Redz an hour earlier would help that. Maybe more would stay after the game to have a drink - think that could depend on the result of the game though.
Being interesting what SKY would do to the early kick offs as many supporters go to their clubs to watch those matches on the tv's and screens.
I can remember trying to skip off early from school when Crawley had a Tuesday/Wedneday 3.00pm afternoon kick offs - before floodlights at Town Mead - one was an 8 - 0 win against Ramsgate (I think) didn't get there until half time and we were already 6 - 0 up.
