Not only was it a game of two sides one well organised energetic and familiar in the dark arts the other clueless frightened to shoot and lacking pride and passion one dugout full of passion, encouragement and yes the occasional bo!!lking the four in the other dugout looking at sheets of paper and what looked like pictures of a subbuteo game.

You genuinely thought we were clueless, lacking pride and passion in the second half? Some people in the bar was saying they thought it was the best they’ve seen us play this season. While I don’t agree with that I think the truth might be somewhere in the middle
That was the best half of football I've seen from us this season. On top, pressing, creating opportunities and basically doing well. No idea about the penalty but when on top you have to score or you leave yourself open to suckered punch.
The first half was extremely poor. I, and everyone who has ever watched an Evans team, knew how they were going to try to play. Seems like our management team didn't. I was disappointed in them in that first half. However, they could see it wasn't working and tried a couple of things and it vastly improved because we stopped them doing what they wanted, whenever they wanted.
I cant say we were unlucky to lose because we could have been down by a couple more goals at half time but from where the second half started we were unlucky not to win.
I have just seen Betsy's interview. Putting some of the blame on the management team last season when they had half the funds that you do is beneath you.
KB may feel a little hard done by today BUT first half dire. 20 minutes before we had a shot. The game is 90 minutes and the tactics were chaotic if there were any. Defending was awful players all over the place the line up and formation at the back does not work and yet KB seems to be the only one that can't grasp this. Stevenage were stronger, quicker, faster, longer and quite honestly could've done the conga they basically ran rings around us. Second half we improved but were massively helped by a very fortunate goal that Stevenage Boss Evans will be mad they conceded. Lets be honest here they could've had more than 2 and if they had not collected all 3 points would've felt robbed over the 90 minutes. Sure it was heart-warming to see us have a go second half but its all too late, this is just a catalogue of performances and result not up to the std we expect at this club. If KB remains in charge then I fear the worse - relegation - before than lots of unrest and drop in home attendances. Fans have had enough and the chant for Steve Evans said it all - the greatest manager this club has ever had, by far. So disappointed this season has never got going. Very worried we are in a relegation scrap.
Why did the club stewards want to disperse fans so quickly post-match it was clear a protest of some sort was brewing and I guess they could see that. I acknowledge we had a go second half but why couldn't we do that when we started? By then we were one down and lucky it wasn't more. He has to go afte rthis the return of points from 11 games played is pathetic.
