“I’m looking forward to meeting with the CTSA and finally providing clarity to the fans, but I will not be able to do so on the timeline they were requesting. We are currently in the process of getting to the bottom of some sensitive legal issues within the club that I cannot comment on at this moment. I want to be able to give the fans a thorough accounting of what has happened and where we go from here. That’s what the fans want and deserve, but I can’t do that until I am able to shed more light on these legal items and provide the full picture. I hope to be able to share more in the next week and will certainly keep you all apprised of our progress so that we can meet at the earliest opportunity.”
Fair enough, The Weasel Dudes need time to get to the bottom of some sensitive legal issues within the club... Although they actually could have posted something very similar to that "holding statement" back in April too...!
I only mention this, as Jim posted recently on the forum that they "had to act". Well see for yourself how they could have responded instead. What makes their haste even stranger, is that a very reassuring letter from the FA even generously offered the use of their own media machine to assist them...(?)
This might even be a sign that they are finally starting to act like grown-up professionals... It is certainly an improvement on their previous gonzo/stream-of-consciousness/magic realist/druggy legally questionable incoherent mutterings.
Druggy? So ummmm what sensitive legal issue could that be...
I am not suggesting that mind-altering substances were involved... merely pointing out that recent posts by Eben(Neeza Goode) - which you have kindly stashed for our delight - have that retro Hunter S Thompson "gonzo/stream-of-consciousness/magic realist/druggy" New Journalism vibe... and that the content is legally questionable...
...hardly a contentious observation, the evidence is clear for all to see (despite attempts to remove it)... and if you think supporters are worried...
...just imagine reading those tweets, when you are a respected corporate funder in the US, who has placed a considerable investment in the project, based on your faith in his expertise...(?)

I think that this is the route that Reuben and the CTSA should be actively pushing - ensuring that the wider Wagmi consortium are aware of the issues behind the scenes at the foorball club because those investors are the only ones at the moment who have any real power to change how the club is being run.
(a) "Can you imagine being Gillingham or Rochdale or Colchester right now? Like you guys love chanting at games, "You must be sh*t to be behind" - 3 fellow FL clubs involved?
(b) "Matthew Etherington walked into this situation with eyes wide open. He signed a contract that explicitly laid out how we were going to do things at Crawley Town." and "Unfortunately, like everything with this project, he experienced a remarkable spell of bad luck, and while I don't believe one moment defines a man, in this case, he chose to leave us without a manger the day before we have two games in four days." and "We were definitely wrong to put our trust in Matthew." - ME making a legal claim against the owners?
(c) "Some veterans on the team are no longer a part of Crawley Town's future." - Hess, Francombe and Craig and/or past "veterans"
(d) “During our investigation into the claims against John Yems, certain things have come to light, trust has been broken and we cannot repair the rotten culture that preceded us without turning the page." - John Yems
(e) "Moving on from Lewis Young was a tough decision and I take responsibility for that. Lewis had stabilized the team. I went to meet with him after the Bradford game and he expected he was going to be named the full-time manager." and "In that meeting, I explained that we weren't ready to pull the long-term trigger because we had certain concerns. I explained to Lewis how he would be evaluated the rest of the month and what the organization's goals were." - Lewis Young

This article here mentions that there are loads of issues going on behind the scenes currently that is delaying Preston from meeting the supporters alliance (although I feel that most of the issues that fans are not happy with aren't linked). Simply just hoping that we can get through the next couple of weeks without any more major damage done and then whoever comes in as manager is given the chance to do his job and aren't told by the owners and Chris Galley which players to pick/sign etc
Whoeverr it is will have no choice but to work with whoever WAGMI have remaining at the club. They essentially need to get the best outta them. Yems was good at that. Its not an easy task. The next appointment is likely to keep the club afloat or sink it. DONT RUSH IT. Get it right.
