I see the Cowley Brothers have been sacked at Pompey.
They did a decent job with Lincoln City in League 2 and even managed to boost the attendances.

Would love them here, however I think we’ve got to set our sights lower. Going to take someone seriously desperate to want to work under WAGMI, unless there’s a real attitude change from Preston and Eben
I would take them. It isn't as far fetched as perhaps we think - good record in the non-leagues and League 2 but the step up to Huddersfield/Pompey didn't work out. So maybe they will need to re-group at L2 level.
However as experienced/successful operators at NL/L2 level they wouldn't be interested in working in an environment where some clown owners are telling them who to sign, pick etc.
Experienced lower league manager with proven record of a achieving success from non league to League 1 and League 2. Exactly the kind of manager we need and exactly why WAGMI will not appoint them and instead choose some U23 stats manager.
They would be a fantastic appointment. But I'm afraid your owners' reputation is such that they would surely not be interested as things stand. I am a huge admirer of the brothers and was saddened by how it ended at Pompey. It is quite likely their next job will be at League Two level as their reputation has suffered a bit of a blow. But they will want to be very careful about their next employers.

After spending the afternoon in The Jubilee Oak public house, enjoying the Step Free Access, TV screens, Wifi, and 3oz American Burger including a drink, I decided to pop into Crawley library on the way home.
Much to my surprise a melee ( that's a fight to me and you ) had erupted in the Business and Management Books section.
I could clearly see the 2 Cowley brothers wrestling over a copy of How To Win Friends and Influence People, whilst a bemused taxi driver stood over them and enquired if they still wanted their lift to the Broadfield Stadium.
