Agree with CC. 4 points every 3 games would give us 51 points which should be enough. 4 points from next 3 points will be a good return.
Notice that Scott again said in post match interview that an end to end game does not suitable for Gladwin. To me this means he is not cut enough and needs others to do running for him, hence Roles coming on near end. Feel we missed Tilley and Khaleel's energy and willingness to take a shot. Hopefully they will recover from their injuries soon.
Watched the highlights. The sending off was very very soft. If that happened to one of our players we'd be fuming. At the game I thought he had deliberately tripped the player. Not on the highlights.
The penalty was ridiculous. Every breath you take a Crewe player goes down.
Their first goal. Great run, great shot. Our keeper looks as though he goes to ground far to early. Is he off the pitch too?
As good as Gordon was going forward he was as bad defending. The left winger gave him the runaround all game and he really could have done with some help.

Yeah Swindon fans essentially said the same about Gladwin when he signed calling him a luxury player. Not sure why Lindsay is saying the same thing in a roundabout way, all players need to get stuck in and out a shift in. Sounds like he accepts Gladwin is not an all action box to box player and others will need to do the running for him. Doesn’t sound very encouraging for a player made captain.

We got a point.

Yeah I thought Corey should have narrowed down the angle better for the first Crewe goal, although it was a great finish he shouldn’t have been allowed to score from that angle.

I think he looks a decent player but the whole thing doesn’t really fit with the guff that we got from Statman as to why Nichols was sold.
Seems to me that Gladwin is the kind of robust midfielder we’ve been missing for a long time - someone who can out-muscle the opposition. I guess if he was also a box-to-box player and could keep sprinting the entire match, he probably wouldn’t be in this league.

Cannot believe the critism of Gladwin,in the 97th minute of the game he was in the opposition box scoring what I thought was one of the best finishes I've seen at Crawley but also saving a game that most people thought was lost.

and on top of that how about the fans behind the goal actually support the team rather than constantly sing negative chants about Wagmi. I think I heard maybe 2 chants supporting the team during the whole game. How can we expect the team to perform when the supporters have gone AWOL?

I agree E Sussex R , would be good to know your thoughts on ....
Is he in the mould of Jimmy Smith ? or any other named player from our past ?
Would be good to see others opinions, as in my opinion, this guy could have a massive impact on whether we stay up or not.
I personally think he would be better playing in the Powell position and have Jenks, Roles or Kaleel in the other two midfield positions - Powell is another who can't run box to box for 90 minutes and his passing and set piece crosses can be extremely poor at times.

What criticism of him? I just said he is the same sort of player as Jack Powell.

Hmm, I've been thinking about that. Nobody exactly the same springs to mind, but perhaps a mixture of Jimmy Smith with the physical presence of Pablo Mills.
